It's unbelievable that these 10 pieces of fried banana only cost RM 4. Wowowo!!!
While the bananas had a firm texture and weren't overly sweet, the outer crispiness was truly outstanding. The crunchiness was incredibly satisfying, with a clean oil taste. Dipping the banana into the homemade kicap manis sauce elevated its flavour even more. The sauce had a hint of garlic and a savoury profile. If only they used sweeter and melty bananas, it would have been the perfect snack.

These iced milk teas packed a punch with their milkiness and sweetness. A combo of a full tummy and this beverage could instantly induce a food coma. The refreshing coldness coursing through our bodies was pure bliss.

Ambeng Simple Delight
Absolutely delicious! Among the three dishes we tried, this stood out as the best. Dense, mushy compressed rice served with sambal goreng, sambal chicken, and serunding. The tender chicken coated in sweet and spicy sambal was a delightful pairing with the lontong. Highly recommended! You can also opt for rendang or kicap style for the meat.

Generic yellow noodles coated in savoury mee rebus gravy, garnished with green chilli, scallion, parsley, and fried crisps. While the alkaline taste of the noodles was a bit strong, the gravy couldn't quite mask it, rendering the overall dish average. We had better ones elsewhere like Mee Rebus House.

A hearty bean stew with minced beef and fava beans, blended with spices, onions, and chillies, accompanied by a thick margarine toast. Breaking apart the toast and dipping it into the rich, smooth gravy, we enjoyed its slightly spicy and meaty flavour. The taste reminded me of corned beef, it was a comforting treat.

Travelling up north all the way to Larkin with my foodie kaki, we gone on a foodventure at this bustling food court. Here's a rundown of dishes we had,

Kacang Pool (RM 7) from Kacang Pool Haji
