Sweet Waffles with Chocolate Sauce & Toasted Marshmallow Ice Crram ($9.5)-fluffy, crispy, good fragrance, one of the better waffles 4.25/5

Definitely one of the more affordable brunch places. Most foods are under $10.

Salami Sandwich (9.5)-crisp sourdough, generous salami, melted creamy but not too salty Swiss Cheese, sweet jam-like onion. Really like it 4/5

What better way to start the day after your last night shift for the week than with someone else making breakfast for you πŸ˜‰

Had the Breakfast Waffle ($9) and a 5oz White Coffee ($4.50)

The Breakfast Waffle's a combo of 4 waffle slices, sunny side up egg, a choice of crispy bacon or ham, and a side of maple syrup. Simple yet delicious ^w^

The White Coffee also had its own unique taste. Though small in size, its flavour shows its worth

I'd come back here again to study (w/o the need for internet) and/or to read a book to pass the day away :)

Another place that serves coffee and brunch platter to help you start the day on a right note!! Got enough of truffle fries? Try their truffle tater tots (mini hashbrowns) cute and easy to eat! Don't miss this place right at Novena MRT! (Across Velocity, beside United Square)

This little cafe is doing great since it opened its doors more than a year and a half ago. What keeps diners coming back is that they serve up pretty decent brunch grub at affordable prices. And those sautΓ©ed cremini mushrooms are to die for.

Finally after walking past this cafe so many times, I managed to try it. I was amazed by the menu because this place is actually pretty affordable! Much cheaper than other cafes. Highly recommend this place if you don't wanna burn a hole in your pocket.

I had the Roast Beef ($9.50). The Ciabatta perfectly toasted, Beef perfectly roasted (damn that rhyming though), combined with the generous amount of Caramelised Onions, a great lunch which made my tummy happy! The Truffle Tater Tots ($7), which was hash brown bites with truffle flavour and sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese, made me melt 😍 The Hash browns had such a strong Truffle taste, I loved the combination so much I finished it till the last crumb.

In the picture also includes the Eggs Benedict with Salmon ($12.80), Granola Yoghurt ($6), Scrambled Eggs on Toast ($6), and the Breakfast Waffle ($9).

$8.50 for avocado BLT, $7 for ham and cheddar cheese on crispy fluffy sourdough. No gst & service charge!

Flavoursome sandwich options and quality coffee in a nicely designed cafe but without the price tag

To never return again.. From top left clockwise: Panko Chicken Sandwich ($9.50), Avocado BLT Sandwich ($9) and Sweet Waffle ($9.50).

I wondered if we ordered the wrong items but these tasted really mediocre. Just to lament some of our unhappiness - the bread was dry, waffles were hard, chicken was thin with a thick hard battered coat... Overall, nothing was good. It is not an exaggeration to say that they tasted amateur-ish.

Guess they live up to its name of being "clueless" in serving food that is worth the price tag. 😧

The Rancher's Breakfast, simple poached eggs on avocado spread toast. Sounds good but the execution definitely fit a more western palette. Hard, nut crusted bread, mustard dressing on the salad and surprisingly no Chilli sauce felt kinda strange. The clientele was also 50% 'ang moh' as well, which could explain the style of food.

But the coffee was good (from Common Man Roasters) and the tatter tots were decent ( although the lack of Chilli sauce to dunk it in was disappointing).

All in all, not a place to detour to but alright to hit it for your caffeine fix if you're in the neighborhood.

Its menu offered a good range of breakfast items and sandwiches, including breakfast waffle that was seen on many tables. The truffle tater tots (bottom left) was also a popular choice. Servings were generous, food was tasty and the place pleasant. #burpple

Really attractive pricing, with nothing over $13.80 (for the British Breakfast Platter loaded with the full works), and Truffle Tater Tots at only $6. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area for brunch.

Better than truffle fries, because tater tots.

What I know that they serve fantastic and affordable food. Most of the items on the menu are less than $10. The portion is quite generous too. No wonder this cafe is always full! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Rancher's egg cost about $8.90, simple and tasty, worth the price paid. Ice mocha is pretty good too!
