This stall which also opens early in the morning vies for business with another fishball noodles stall nearby. I have always patronised them other stall but since it was closed today I came here.
Ordered mee Kia soup ($3). The portion is small and comes with 2 fishballs, 1 meatball and a few slices of fish cake. The noodles was done just right, sufficiently al dente. There is a strong taste of pepper in the soup, not unpleasant, just different from others. The fish balls are bouncy and sufficiently salty. The star of the show was the meat ball. They are well marinated and hand made. Lovely.
So now I wonder why the queue at the other stall is always much longer? Can it be because their prices start from $2.50? But you get only get a few fish balls and strands of noodles with $2.50. For me, it’s a no brainer
