This restaurant, located within the SAF Yacht Club, offers live seafood with a good view of the Johor Straits. You can actually see Johor Bahru from the restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable and they have some good set menus as well. We ordered Kam Heong Crab $60 for 2 crabs, Black Bean Fish Head, Fried Kailan and Oyster Omelette. Total damage including drinks (non alcoholic) was $131.
The Kam Heong Crab was not Kam Heong style. It was cooked with curry powder and had curry leaves thrown in. The oyster omelette was very salty in some parts. The kailan was normal but the star of the show was the Black Bean Fish Head. The saltiness and the wok heat from frying the aish head came through just nice.
Service wise, it was almost non existent as they had only two service staff although one could argue that with ordering done online what would you need the extra staff for? Wrong because you always have questions to ask about the menu.
And for the view, you have to be seated outside. But that comes with another problem - house flies! We spent most of the time waving away the tenacious flies determined to share our food.
Not coming back. Not even for the view which I can also enjoy next door at the izakaya.

Finger licking good zhup 😋 Meaty crab at pretty reasonable prices, if you don't mind the ulu location and rural feel of the place.
We could smell the richness of the chilli crab gravy before it even reached the table! It was more sweet than spicy. Tasted lovely with the Buns and it tasted awesome enough to have me lick my fingers!
I'm a big fan of pepper crab and chilli crab. In this case I feel the pepper crab here is nicer than the chilli crab so far in my opinion. 2 pax small eater goes without rice. We order medium range size. Pepper crab : 8.9/10 chilli crab : 6.5/10 veg : 8.9/10 ambience: 8.5/10 price : I spent about $117 total exclude 2 milo bing. I will put it as more affordable comparing to house of seafood or no signboard 7.5/10 #overall is good in my opinion. I will be bringing my friends and my family here to eat more often

Chili not as spicy as I thought, quality of crab was great, crab meat was very succulent. Location wise would not recommend to those using public transport.
