Centering in on miso soup, this tipple consists of a beautifully blended homemade gin ume, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. My second drink is called morning breeze... #drink #chill #morningbreeze
It was a pity that the gnocchi standard was not consistent throughout the whole dish. But the chicken was good.
ok what I really wanted to show is a pic of the beef tartare ($24++) but unfortunately that falls into the tastes good looks bad category
It's no surprise Ronin serves the best coffee in town, along with sister cafes The Plain and The Bravery. Boasting an ambience of of dark mystery, this is a place for quiet time alone, or a relaxing brunch with your best friend. Go for the French toast, and if you're up for something new, try the Wicked - a genius concoction of mint, chocolate and coffee that comforts your insides like no other. Photo by Alain Foodology
This newly opened cafe in Clarke Quay certainly brightens up your mood with their vibrant yellow cups and cheerful ambience. They serve premium coffee pulled from the top-of-the-line La Marzocco Strada machine, along with simple pastries, waffles and ciabatta lunch sets. Give their signature "Croiffins" (a croissant-muffin hybrid) a try if you're up for something new! Photo by Sheryl Sherbakes
The chicken and mutton murtabak at Kamala Restaurant is something so unique you may never have tasted anything like it. Well worth the hunt for this place located right next to Tekka market (look for a newly renovated place with the sign Kamala Restaurant), the dough is paper-thin, and the filling is generous, well spiced, and unbelievably tasty. Seriously, you have to try it to believe it. As Burppler Ian Ramsay says, "imagine all the pratas and murtabaks you've ever tasted, combine them all together, and what would you get? Nothing compared to this one." Photo by Ian Ramsay
Chef Han managed to replicate our famous chilli crab flavor (with a hint of spiciness) in the ice cream. Amazing. Interesting! I like this.
In this new urban/edgy/bare brick Tras St spot, having Italian for dinner has gotten a lot more fun. Don't miss the Pulled Pork & Waffle fries ($15), perfectly fluffy homemade Gnocchi ($21), and the (omg wait for it) - Triple Cheese & Truffle Toasty at $15. Finish with a gorgeous Cannoli with whipped ricotta and lemon.
Brunch in this brick-walled space is always a lovely affair, from the ambience to the well-executed food. Favourites include the Flan ($23), pork cheek confit with sauteed mushrooms, a perfectly poached egg, and a mountain of rocket sitting in a light pastry shell. The truffle fries are so delightful, it's worth popping by anytime you're in the neighborhood! Finish off with their decadent waffles. Photo by Jennifer Yeo
