2 large pizza for $33 with free side. Ordered Curry Chicken And Hawaiian Supreme Pizzas. Wingstreet Platter which consisted of honey roasted wings, sweet & spicy drumlets, honey soy and spicy tangy wings.
Takeaway sushi set. My favorite salmon aburi!
Ordered delivery using Ubereats. The dishes that stood out were the Fried Chicken and Waffle and Belgian Chocolate Brownie with Ice cream.
One of the only restaurants in Orchard with a Halal-certified kitchen serving a buffet spread of our favourite local dishes, StraitsKitchen promises a unique gastronomic tour through Singapore’s distinct cuisine.
Menu highlights show off the best of Singapore’s four local races: Chinese, Indian, Malay and Peranakan. Stationed at live theatre kitchens, chefs will personally prepare freshly roasted items straight from the sizzling grill. Apart from the traditional meals, not to be missed at StraitsKitchen are the pastries and desserts, from Peranakan kuehs to homemade ice-creams.
Celebrated Valentine’s Day at Melt Cafe. Known for its extensive buffet presentations, the restaurant had a variety of stations to tempt diners. Here diners would find a roast and carving corner, as well as the ever popular live gourmet stations, together with the European and Asian spreads. The Melt Chocolate Cake was to die for! The crabs were sweet and fresh, while the Tze Char dishes tasted pretty good too!
Foie Gras Yakiniku Onsen Tamago Don ($22). Loved the buttery foie gras. The beef slices were a tad too tough tho. My personal preference would still be Tanuki Raw.
Loved how the different meats were nicely marinated. The spicy beef soup was pretty good too!
Chicken Claypot Rice and Pork Belly Claypot Rice. Felt that the Pork Belly Claypot Rice tasted better. The Claypot Rice came with salted fish and salted egg which enhanced the flavors. Best eaten with the chili sauce provided. The Chicken Soup was quite oily but was so tasty and flavorful.
Gyudon ($11.90) - Stir-fried barbecue and sweetened onions topped with onsen egg, spring onion, nori and sprinkled with sesame seeds. This Gyudon was quite bland for me and the miso soup was tasteless as well. Belly Mentaiyaki 2 pcs ($3.90) - Half cooked salmon with mentai sauce and flying fish roe.
Waffles with salted caramel sauce with Elvis and Honeycomb ice cream. Waffles were crispy which I loved, but wished the inside of the waffles could be softer. The flavors of the ice cream and the salted caramel sauce kinda blew me away :) One of the better waffles with ice cream I have tasted.
With a tinge of spiciness, KFC Honey Sesame Chicken is fried to an auspicious gold, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with an abundance of sesame seeds for that sweet reunion of flavours!
