(Apparently there's a whole shop in Tokyo that exclusively sells Echire.) You can understand why when you taste it. It's not a dinner-party showstopper like the Beppinno Ocelli, but it's an understatedly elegant butter. It's got a great balance and is just salty enough. It's the kind of butter that would play well with others but can hold its own in the spotlight too.
No wonder it was once world best butter. #burpple

But the fried chicken sandwich was not so good though. a bit oily, the batter doesn’t stick to the chicken and it’s tasteless.
Anyway, it’s 1 for 1 using #burpplebeyond so it’s definitely worth it. But only for selected items. #burpple

Mostly just eating the cream, the taste is not that strong and hardly eat the cake part at bottom and the price is on the higher side. Love the packaging though, even it's just a paper box.
The fruit tea series is just like others in the market, just much bigger n more expensive.
I did ordered the early milk tea also(not in the photo), it is so funny that the paper cup was so big and tall but actually it's half empty below, that's why need a special holder when u put on the table, so that it won't fall, because the below part of the cup is empty. My question is, why... why... Feel cheated đŸ˜Ș #burpple

Spacious, off white, minimalist with a touch off wooden vintage furniture.
The kind that puts you in a relaxing and idle mood. A break from hustle bustle of life.
Love the concept of the open kitchen and bar whereby customers can see the magic behind a cup of coffee and also the way barista serves it to the customers with a side note which contains sensory notes of the coffee that being served as if they were in a competition and about to be judged.
And before the journey ends, they never fail to ask every customer “How’s the coffee today?” “Excellent!” was the answer they get most of the time, I believe.

I'm really curious how they could turn this simple dish becomes so tasty. The avocado toast was not bad as well, it's very well seasoned. #burpple #alwayshungryinTelokAyer

Got the Maine Style and SG Chilli Crab style seafood rolls (crab and lobster) with the 1 for 1 deal which works out to be 23 for 2 rolls.

The chilli crab taste is really tasty for someone who loves some spice in their seafood and the Maine Style is for someone who prefers to taste the freshness of their seafood. I would recommend both flavours!

The owner runs the stall himself and is a really nice chap. I would definitely go back to support him!

3 flavors to choose and I chose original. Love the chips and the soup too! Worth eating as Burpple has 1:1 too! Ate thrice and will return again!

Topped with delicious smoked creme and roe(lots of it). It’s amazingly still so crispy.
Briyani Suckling Pig, and wow! Spiced briyani rice with crispy suckling pig and madras mustard. Though I feel like the some part of the suckling pig was not that crispy, so it’s a bit difficult to cut or even to chew it. But I love the bits of cashew nuts in the briyani.
Love how they can turn an old house to a rustic, hippie and cozy place in the heart of Little India. I feel like being transported to somewhere in Mumbai, surrounded by jewellery stores, road side fruit and flower stalls. And love how they managed to infuse tradisional Indian cuisine into their menu in a fascinating way.
Shout out to their service, the staffs really know what they are doing and take pride of it(in a humble & nice way)
And last thing, I want to share a little secret with you guys.. ppsssttt... I just signed up #burpplebeyond the day before and I used it for this occasion, so the briyani suckling pig is buy 1 get 1. I pretty much get back the annual signed up fee(around $54/year), because the suckling pig is around that price.
That’s not the end of my “kiasuness”, I made reservation at the restaurant online using #chope so I can buy cash voucher $50 at 10% off, which I can use it on top of the #burrplebeyond deal. Isn’t it amazing?!
I feel like I was so stupid for not knowing this much earlier. Imagine how much I can save. I’m so truly Singaporean now, no? Give me the red passport already!
Enough for now, time to hunt for the other 400ish deals which @burpple has to offer. Ciao.. #burpple

There is a variety of cuts of meat to choose. From 5000 JPY to 20000 JPY, since the cheapest one(5000 JPY) was sold out, so I have to choose the second cheapest, Wagyu Sirloin (8000 JPY). I believe one can taste the difference between the meat cuts as will you need to dig deeper into your pocket. The meat is definitely juicy and tasty even with minimal sauce or seasoning. But the portion was just too small for me. Have to find another proper lunch to fill up the other 3/4 empty space in my big belly. Wish I could have the chance to try the Chateaubriand (20000 JPY) next time.
The staff is super helpful and will explain the different cuts.

My only menu whenever I come to this resto.

The fried chicken was the bomb. The batter was so tasty and the chicken was so tender and juicy, though it’s breast meat.
The price is not cheap but look out for @chopesg they always have a good offer there.
