Bistro($25) Side: House salad
Everything with a pickle atop. I like the presentation of my burger as it was clean and unique-a knife stabbed through the burger. The burger was too big for my mouth, so I had to cut it up in smaller pieces😂 The buns were soft and nicely toasted, the beef patty was huge, I opted for mine to be done medium well. Only qualm is that the beef could be seasoned better, but the accompanying sides do give the burger flavour and 'oophm' factor. They also put blue cheese and lettuce-I felt the blue cheese to be too strong and overpowering after awhile though.(scraped some off the top bun halfway through my burger) The caramelised onion+mushroom mixture was delicious and went well with the burger.

Fluffy hotcake baked with apples within and decorated with strawberries, blueberries, pistachios(which unfortunately went soft) and a dusting of powdered sugar! The mix of hot and cold was soo good, really love the generous scoop of vanilla bean ice-cream. After a while, the taste of the hotcake gets boring though, and I felt myself going for more honey to pair with the cake😂 Definitely should share with friends as it is quite large!

The shell pasta is covered in a blanket medley of 3 cheeses; poking into the mixture and drawing out the pasta is super satisfying as you watch the strands of ooey-gooey cheese pull away from the pasta mixture and into your mouth. They were very generous with the cheese, beef, pasta; basically everything. The beef was tender and not too fatty, the carrots added colour; the whole dish was baked to perfection, topped off with crumbs and a lovely side of arugula. I love this dish!

Very value for money-oozey egg atop purple rice(carbs), plus choice of meat and 3 ingredients. I went with beef bulgolgi, which was tender and flavourful, and carrots, cucumber and marinated spinach, all of which were very fresh and added nice crunch! I especially like the spinach-all in all, a very wholesome and hearty meal!

The lobster porridge was pricey-for 3 lobsters, it costs us about $100+. The lobster meat was tougher than prawn, and didn't have a distinct taste. I didn't mind it, but my parents didn't really enjoy it. The soup was the star; sweet and soothing, it made the dish hearty and wholesome. It is a very comforting dish, in which the soup is the main highlight.

The burger had a juicy beef patty topped with a fried egg-the yolk oozed out when my friends cut into it! The truffle fries were crisp and for $5, quite a generous serving.

The avacado toastie consists of avacado and cheese sandwiched between crisp grilled bread. The bread was soft yet toasty, and the filling combination was so simple yet satisfying.I didn't enjoy the side salad though as I felt the dressing was too strong.

Chunky softserve topped with generous servings of oreo cookie and crumbs! The marshmallow fluff was torched and went well with the wafer cone. The softserve however didn't have a distinct taste; it tasted slightly like froyo, not too sweet-I guess this is to prevent a sugar rush as the other toppings provide sweetness. It is quite fun to dig in and have your ingredients spilling onto the paper plate😂 Nice place to chill out with friends and family as it isn't too crowded as well.

Amazing sushi and sashimi! Fresh and handmade on the spot😄 I love the torched aburi salmon, and the scallop sashimi(on the house) was succulent and sweet. The spicy aburi hemachi was not bad as well👍 Affordable ala carte buffet with fantastic sushi and sashimi😌

We ordered the molten eggs, consisting of 2 molten eggs topped with cheese, chorizo sausage and mushrooms.  Mix it all up and it's ooey, gooey -delicious. It complemented our pastas really well. I ordered the giant tortellini, which came with mushrooms, chestnuts and truffle. The filling was generous-earthy texture of porcini mushrooms. The sauce was yummy as well. My brother ordered the Angus meat ragu with fresh parpadella. The meat sauce was flavourful with its tomato base, and the parpadella was Al dente. My parents ordered the crabmeat aglio aglio, which consists of squidink pasta, tomato, longbean (?) and fresh crabmeat.
We topped up $5 for both pastas(except tortellini) to have it be handmade pasta. Worth-it! The crab pasta was a fresh medley of seafood and greens, with a spicy kick! Overall, I enjoyed the pastas and the homey feeling Ah Bond's exudes.

Original order was redbean sweet potato bingsu but they ran out of ice so we had chocolate shaved ice with sweet potato, mochi, red bean and green tea ice-cream(top-up $0.50 for green tea flavour) It took about 15minutes to prepare but it was well worth the wait- the presentation was so beautiful, and the medley of flavours really complement each other. (Surprisingly, chocolate shaved ice goes well with the ingredients) They were generous with the fillings: love the sweet potato, red bean and almond flakes! The green tea ice-cream was delicious too. Cosy café for a great catch-up! (The decor was unique and very pretty as well😄)

Tteokboki and cheese-the korean version of Mac and cheese. Ooey-gooey cheese with chewy rice cakes topped with LOTSA CHEESE and ham and bacon; de-li-cious.
