Affordable weekly special at Wine BOS. Awesome combination of both steak and sauce.
This was a little strong tasting, though I suspect it's because I told the bartender I'm not a fan of sweet liquor. Still this was pretty good, though I'd stick with my newfound love aka the Choya.
Meh Meh Lamb Chop @bistro1855. Grilled spring lamb, mashed potatoes & asparagus, toasted tomato on vine with red wine jus. Compliments to the Chef. Indeed brings the standard of the lamb to the next level. Will be back to try the rest, that will be on my next pay check ๐น๐น๐น
The plate of thick and aromatic Black Garlic Soup is ladled over a ratte potato slice, dill bread, bamboo buckwheat flour crisp and black garlic clove. Served on a bed of shells, Papillote Octopus & Clams containing tiger prawns, white and bamboo clams, and octopus will entice all seafood lovers.

Nestled on the rooftop of Link Hotel at Tiong Bahru is Lin's ๆ Rooftop Bar!
Their menu is filled with mainly Asian-fusion dishes & one of the items that stood out of the menu was the Chilli Crab Pasta. We were warned that the waiting time was about 45 minutes to an hour, and we could tell why looking at how crowded it was for a Tuesday evening.
The food arrived about 45 minutes later, but who's counting when there was Happy Hour half pints at $6++, and we were treated to a spicier version of the Chilli Crab pasta, and a whole deep fried soft shell crab that came with it.
Pasta was slightly overcooked (which is fine cause most don't really enjoy al dante pasta) and tossed in a sweet-spicy-eggy Chilli Crab mixture & chopped chilli which passes off just right. The soft shell crab though, was a stunner with it's crisp exterior & succulent interior. Combine it altogether, this is one dish I'd order again when I'm back!
When craving for a lighter flavor of Japanese Ramen, this is the place to go! I have never tried a bowl of ramen in chicken broth before, but I would say it suited me perfectly as I am not someone who really like the strong (and perhaps salty) flavor of the usual pork broth.
We heard from the manager that the spicy version of this ramen was made by adding green chili, for its appearance was exactly the same as the non-spicy version. Don't be deceived by its looks as it was really spicy!
For $13++, the amount of ramen given was really more than I expected such that I couldn't even finish. The chashu slice was pretty big and so soft that it broke into pieces as I attempted to pick it up as a whole!
Had the Volcano Ramen at Level 1 of spiciness. Not purely spicy and it manages to retain a good flavour of how ramen tastes. Only negative bit is that the eggs are overcooked and not soft boiled when it should actually be.
One of the best ramen experience is to choose your type of broth in 4 Seasons where Spring stands for basil and cheese, Summer for Spicy Ramen, Autumn for Minced Pork Broth and Winter for a much normal Charsiew Pork Broth. You can pick the ingredients you want or everything inside where it would be the best and most filling.
One of the best part is there's free taugay and boiled egg for you to munch on while waiting for the ramen to be served! Staff are really friendly and ramen took about 5-10mins of waiting time!! Definitely worth the time and effort to head down to any of the outlets and try!!!
Queue may be quite long during peak hours but fret not! They do serve cool teas for u to chill while you wait to be seated. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
If you are ramen lover, you gotta try this lobster ramen ($15.90 for Spicy Miso, $14.90 for Non spicy or clear miso), the soup has a really thick and creamy texture to it and the richness of the taste is so comforting and addictive ๐ญthe pork belly is just so tender and really love their prawn wontons. Worth the visit , not just once.
