Attracted by the painted walls outside Adora, I wandered in and ordered a cup of hot chocolate as I began my exploration through New Town, Sydney. It was oh soooo good!! One of the best hot chocolates Iโve had! ๐ฅฐ Creamy, smooth, heavenly!

my life is complete!! ๐๐๐ Vegemite-flavoured ice-cream, I actually LOVE it!! (I do like cheesy vegemite).. so when the Melbourne tour guide mentioned this, I knew I just had to get a scoop anyway despite all the raised eyebrows, and made everyone else at the table from my tour try it too! ๐
Happy that HarriAnns has opened a new restaurant at Suntec City, complete with a dine-in area and all-day meals, on top of their yummy nonya kueh! ๐๐๐๐ป Had a good lunch with the colleagues today, every dish - from Ayam Buah Keluak, Nonya Laksa, Itek Tim to Chup Chye - were yummy (and generous portions too)!! Even their Teh was to my liking ๐
but guess I canโt say the same for this glorious bowl right here! Sudden craving for laksa today, and this just so hits the spot! ๐๐๐คค

Crazy idea to sit outdoors under the 32 deg C scorching weather, but didnโt feel like cooping up indoors on such a sunny day by the river, so Iced Matcha Latte to the rescue... and OMG those spam fries are addictive!! Paired with a truffle garlic dip and a basil cheese dip. Love this place, great for people watching. Free wifi too ๐
So glad thereโs a new Menya Kokoro near the office now, easy to just swing by! The mazesoba here has thicker noodles than that from Kajiken, so it feels a little heavier towards the end of the meal. Very yummy minced meat sauce thatโs quite spicy even for its regular version (thereโs a spicy version too), goes perfect with the runny egg and overdose of chopped spring onion! Colleague and I both enjoyed this, though we may share the large portion next time, instead of a small portion each, too much carbs for lunch ๐ Some say this is better than Kajiken, I think both are comparable; although I personally still prefer Kajikenโs flavours.
๐๐ ๐คญ๐ So there were three packs left on the shelf and I just had to pick one up. Verdict: Itโs not bad, does have a faint hint of Bak Kwa but mostly just savoury sweet seasoning, not exactly my favourite.

Delicate textures, made with Japanese techniques, and not too sweet at all. A visual and culinary treat.
