The fatty yellowtail and swordfish are enjoyable when the fats just fills your mouth with buttery taste. Generous portions of salmon roe, salmon belly and scallops, topped with tamago to end it off.

You will certainly enjoy this torched version of Chirashi Don if aburi is your poison.

Bun is well grilled with butter, pulled pork is a bit sweeter than savoury due to the cola I guess. It's quite a generous serving if you're a smaller eater. Really wished for the price we get fries by default instead.

Had expected the sweet broth to be more potent with prawn taste, but I guess it's more tolerant and not too overpowering. You'll find dried shrimps at the bottom of the soup.
3 jumbo prawns were enough to fill stomachs. The prawns were fresh and springy. and it's the first time I really could eat the flesh off a prawn head. Don't forget to ask them for their special chilli sauce for the extra kick.

Every detail to their mee kia (thin type of noodles) were coated with generous portion shrimp sauce and pork lard. Noodles were not overly springy like the HK type. The sauce might make you feel it's a bit to the salty type though.

For S$20 it might not be your everyday hawker fare, but if you do feel like indulging yourself, you can certainly take a break from waffles, eggs benedict, truffle fries and get yourself a bowl of levelled up hawker fare. (there are $6 and $12 versions with small prawns)

Salmon and ikura don from Bonta Bonta at Wisma Atria's Japan Gourmet Town. The first time this type of rice bowl was served with warm rice instead of cold. This makes the Salmon semi cooked when you eat it, something like tataki or aburi. Yums!

And don't belittle the kumquat they give with the meal, the sweetness will help end the meal on a perfect note.
