A definitely must try when you come to BKK!
Tucked away in Singapore's "countryside" at Bukit Timah Saddle Club, this place is a lovely setting for intimate dates and celebrations. Feast on hearty mains like the Braised Beef Cheeks and the Mushroom Risotto while taking in the idyllic surroundings. Opt for outdoor seating if the weather permits, as it is really gorgeous at night. End your meal with the Sticky Date Pudding - it won't disappoint!

This is by far the best invention for pasta I have tasted. Semi fusion delights (Thai Cusine & Italiano!) with strong flavors on creamy tom yum base! 🍝
Indeed an eye opening experience and this is highly recommended to everyone that THIS IS A MUST TRY when you're at 49seats!
It leaves you no regret having this for sure!

You can never go wrong at Peperoni's! Get serious and come with your hungriest girlfriends to stuff your faces with their 21-inch XXL pizza. If you girls can really eat, try the pan fried mozzarella wrapped in parma ham, the Frutti di Mare pasta, or the lasagna. Sit outdoors if the weather is nice, and sip on an ice cold Gunner mocktail. Just the place for a fun and casual night, with good food and even better company.
This place doesn't need a recommendation, what with its history, and enthusiastic word of mouth doing it for them. There's no better place to head down in your shorts and slippers with a few good friends you're too busy to catch up with during the week, and have a comforting breakfast of kaya toast (extra butter pls) and kopi siu dai. Grab as many buns as you can and share! Sometimes nothing beats tradition.
Located in Bishan Park, Cornerstone mirrors its surroundings, creating a lovely, tranquil atmosphere. If you can handle the heat, try their signature spicy Buffalo Wings with varying levels of spiciness, ranging from 1 to 10. The Earl Grey Jivara is a chocolate cake infused with Earl Grey, and is a pretty huge hit amongst the crowd, so you wouldn't want to miss that if you have a sweet tooth.

This really hip-looking cafe shows no trace of its past; probably the only thing that is obvious was the signboard that is retained from the previous tenant. It takes over an old coffeeshop that had started here ever since the estate was around, which also used to house a rather famed Prawn Noodle stall in here. Other items such as the artwork in the cafe featuring old calendars and a weighing scale in its toilet also gives a nod to the past. Despite so, the menu is rather western, featuring salads, all-day brunch and desserts as well as coffee made using the Throwback blend by Papa Pahelta. Go for the waffles if you are here; the Buttermilk is fragrant at its best even though its not even stated in the menu, and for those interested in savoury waffles they also serve them with Fried Chicken, which is also one of their specialties.

This fairly new Ang Mo Kio spot offers good coffee, pancakes, baked goods, and simple mains like Fish and Chips or Pasta Carbonara. It's a nestled in a pretty quiet area, check them out for a quiet weekend respite !
A new spot for a fun night out with good friends over a darn good lobster? Sounds about right. Choose from Live Whole Lobster (steamed or grilled), Lobster Roll or the Chili lobster. Burppler Jasper describes the Lobster Roll as, "😍 Chunks of marinated lobster flesh (a whole lobster is used) tossed with mayo and chives stuffed between divinely buttery buns. Sorry but I ain't gonna be sharing this next time we're down at #pinceandpints..." At $48++ per dish, this is a good place for a birthday celebrations or date nights!
Instead of kaya toast, the gooey soft boiled eggs are accompanied by a dense bun halved and slathered with a UK-imported lemon curd and clotted cream - dip the plain half into the eggs to moisten them.
