Got this during the 1 for 1 promo on tuesdays-fridays from 5-7pm!

The ice cream is light yet tasty. Absolutely loved it. However, the waffle is only mediocre quality - would have preferred if it was served hotter and crispier. This waffle are for those who prefer soft waffles.

The almond honeycomb topping is heavenly!!! Full of a nutty taste and coated with honey & sugar - tasted great with the ice cream.

Would only come back with the 1 for 1 promo, as the portion size is not very large.

Being a matcha lover, I had to get my hands on the matcha latte served at bober!

The matcha latte was made from real matcha powder and tasted quite rich. However, I do not think it was worth the price ($4.90 for a large cup) because there was a much higher proportion of milk than matcha. Would have liked if there was more matcha.

This drink is truly for milk lovers!

The milk is very fresh, and complements the brown sugar syrup. I enjoyed the brown sugar pearls the most as they were very tasty and chewy, and tasted very different from the usual pearls that we drink with milk tea.

Would prefer a milk tea drink, but this is definitely worth a try!

Have recently become a huge fan of mala, so I decided to pay a visit to the mala stall at S11 ang mo kio.

It did not disappoint!

The mala flavour was very rich and I loved it a great deal. Just to name a few of the things i tried: The pork was fresh and not too tough, the enoki mushrooms were nice and chewy, and the lotus root was very crunchy. The only thing I would say is that the flavour was a bit overwhelming towards the end, especially with all the oil and flavour accumulating at the bottom of the bowl.

In terms of price, I think it’s the market rate for mala, around $16 for 2 pax.

By the end of the meal, I was bursting full.

And a fun fact: you ma you la is on food panda, so if you’re ever craving mala and are too lazy to go out, you know who to call!

Looking for a healthy yet tasty rice bowl? Look no further!

The barramundi is very fresh and cooked just right. To add flavor to this rice bowl, it comes with 2 sauces on the side - pesto sauce and gazapo sauce (some sort of mexican tasting tomato sauce). The pesto sauce is rich and flavourful, while the gazapo sauce adds a nice tang to the rice bowl. There is also a small serving of avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions.

Overall, a very wholesome and yummy rice bowl. Will come back again for more!

If you love mushrooms and pesto, this is the pizza for you!

This pizza has a very crispy crust, and is filled with generous amounts of mushrooms. The mushrooms are just the right texture - not too chewy, but not too soft. The best part of it is the pesto sauce! Very rich and hearty - one of the best pesto sauces I’ve ever tasted. The eggs are also cooked to perfection, with a runny yolk in the centre.

This is my 3rd time eating it, and it has never let me down!

Genki is my FAV sushi place in Singapore, and it’s not because of the train (although that’s a bonus).

I’m a big fan of anything with salmon & mentaiko, so genki’s salmon mentaiko sushi is a great combi!! The sushi is slightly seared, the slice is not too thin, and is topped with a generous portion of mentaiko.

10/10 would recommend - it’s really money for value and the taste is great!

This is by far the best iced chocolate I’ve had!

First of all, the chocolate taste was rich and smooth, and did not taste of artificial flavorings. Second, the iced chocolate had multiple layers to it - the top layer was a foamy layer with cocoa powder, the middle layer was the rich chocolatey centre, and the bottom layer was a dark, dense chocolate sauce. Lastly, the iced chocolate was not diluted and packed with ice.

It goes at a price of $6. Will definitely come back for more!

The cafe also has a very chill ambience and modern architecture. It’s a great place to do some light reading or catch up with friends.

I am a big fan of poached eggs, so I was rather disappointed when one out of the two eggs was practically hard boiled. The yolk was fully cooked, and not runny.

While the eggs fell below my expectations, the pulled pork came with a flavorful bbq sauce and some salad.

Compared to other cafe food, this was quite a steal ($12) as they gave a substantial portion of pork.

Would not go out of my way to eat here, but it’s a decent place to go to if you’re in the area!

During my schooling days, Jai Thai used to be a place I frequent. I decided to pay it a visit again yesterday, and to my dismay the menu had changed.

As I wasn’t feeling too adventurous, I settled for some fried tang hoon with chicken. The noodles were a nice chewy texture, but was overall rather bland. The chicken was also rather bland. It was definitely not worth the $6 which I paid.

However, while the green curry seems to be a rather bright green, it is actually pretty flavorful and rich! And it goes for a price of $7 - definitely much more worth it than the fried tang hoon.

If I do return, I would recommend just ordering some white rice to go with the green curry.

Got this on eatigo at 50% off (what a steal!) so it was only $15++

Sashimi is exceedingly fresh, and the slices are generous and not too thin. The aburi could be a little more burnt, but still tastes very yummy as it is topped off with a small dose of mentaiko. The rice is not normal jap rice, and comes with little bits of sesame seeds and seaweed which provide a nice slightly crunchy texture.

This dish normally comes with minced spicy salmon chunks, but the restaurant allows you to swap it for more raw or aburi salmon (yay!)

Would definitely return for more using eatigo discounts!

This piping hot mac & cheese was really really yummy. The cheese was burnt just right and it came with a thick, rich and creamy sauce.

The portion may look small, but would recommend that 2 people share this, especially since it has a creamy base.

Definitely going to return for more and try the version with smoked duck!
