- Well-grilled, flesh was super moist and succulent, almost melt-in-the-mouth with a crisp exterior ๐ฎโ๐จ
- Hamachi, sea bream and shrimps were fresh and delicately sweet, my fav!
- My mum whoโs usually only a fan of salmon enjoyed them too.
- Very crunchy and crispy, slightly tangy sweet and savoury flavour profile with spicy mayo and Japanese soy-based sauce.
- Mildly sweet and chewy firm, didnโt taste fishy at all and quite worth for the price with 4 pieces ๐คฉ
- Pork slices were thin like shabu shabu cut, tender but a tad too fatty for my liking.
- Udon was slippery smooth in savoury broth with hints of wok hei smokiness ๐
- Fishballs were different from usual factory-made ones, super bouncy smooth which made them easy to bite, clean-tasting and fresh without a strong fishiness, I liked them as I usually donโt fancy those that taste too artificial!
- Saucy kind though Iโd prefer less oily.
- Mee pok was quite springy, a bit less wide than what Iโm used to, with a fairly alkaline taste which I didnโt mind as it wasnโt overpowering and added a depth of flavour to the chilli ketchup savouriness ๐ถ๏ธ
- Rich nuttiness with a savoury earthiness although could be a bit dry, quite pricey and would prefer a little more sweetness to enhance its natural fragrance. [7.5/10]
- Very fragrant and densely packed with grounded nuts though I would have liked them to be less crushed for more crunchiness. [8/10]
- Filling disintegrated into a smooth creaminess in the mouth with its mild sweetness, not artificial tasting [8/10]
- Juicy sweet grated coconut providing crunchiness to the chewy skin, couldโve a more prominent gula melaka flavour. [7.5/10]
- Bits of mung bean, not too sweet. [7.5/10]
- Savoury with crumbly salted mung bean paste. [7/10]
