This is the lunch set, which is excellent value for money since you get chawanmushi, mochi, miso soup and a salad along with the generous servings of sashimi chunks! The chunks were nicely cubed and fat, and the bowl certainly satiates one's sashimi cravings. One small gripe is that the excess of salmon roe added a steeply salty slant to the proceedings, but that is probably like complaining my Hermes Birkin is too big for my arm. 4/5

Naturally when I learned that Artistry was launching a new menu that included a baked eggs dish as of today, 1st April (and it wasn't a joke), I headed straight over for breakfast.
The Napoli sauce in which the two eggs were immersed, positively burst with flavours! Illuminated with fresh herbs, the savoury, spicy tomato gravy was chunky with broken-up Spanish chorizo sausage, pieces of bell peppers, onions, and finished off with crumbled feta cheese. I made sure to scoop up every bit with the multigrain toast served alongside.

For something a little different and for a pinch of Argentinean feel, head to boCHINche, located right above Common Man Coffee Roasters. Start off with the Provoleta ($17), a sizzling dish of salty, gooey cheese balanced out with glorious honey and topped with almonds to provide crunch. With Pan and Manceta (Peurto Rican breads, $7) to go along, this is a winning dish that should be shared. The classic pairing of Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs ($24) is elevated here by dill cream cheese slathered beneath. End on a sweet note with their popular Milk Cake ($14) — made with three types of milk and also soaked in milk, it is a dessert so delicate on the palate, and pairs excellently with passionfruit sorbet.

Saving the best for last, the Red Velvet Waffle Stack!! Love the combination of the white chocolate rose sauce which makes the red velvet waffles so awesome!! Probably one of the best red velvet waffles I had tasted! Highly recommended!!

If savoury waffles are not your pick, Waffle Slayer also has eight new sweet waffles on top of Stranger's Reunion range to choose from. This one has crumbly bits of cookies that were subtly sweet and finely chopped almonds to pair up with caramalised apples on top of the waffle. The Vanilla ice-cream on the top makes it an Apple Pie ala Mode in waffle form.

We had the waffles with matcha, salted caramel and speculoos ice cream ($13.40) which was relatively affordable! The waffles were made to perfection with crisp outsides and soft fluffy insides. This coupled with amazing ice cream was just perfection.

Grilled beef patties, bacon, lettuce, guacamole, gruyere, mustard-mayo and truffle fries.

The eggs benedicts were all great and tasted so good. The salted caramel banana french toast was my fav out of all the 3 great dishes as the caramel sauce was delicious and not cloyingly sweet. The thai iced milk tea was a great drink too, being sweeter than normal coffee.

The scrambled eggs with fontina and chives tasted amazingly creamy and delicious!! The truffled egg on toast was also great with the egg, bread and fontina playing a great harmony in my mouth. We added on smoked salmon, avocado and mushrooms which were nothing extraordinary. The ambience of this cafe is amazing as well!

With patties made from 100% vegetable ingredients and the buns from wholemeal grains, you're ensured guilt-free fast food in the form of a delectable burger. Must-try items include the Hawaiian Teriyaki, Cracked Pepper Mayo and the Creamy Shrooms. End off your meal with their vegan dessert, moist and heavenly chocolate cake that is heavy on the lips but not on your hips!
