The variety of oysters here are pretty interesting! Have raw and cooked versions. Oysters were fresh and creamy, my fav was the one with the Prosecco. Will come back just for the oysters.

Fun stuff, they have various sets to suit your h group size. Our was the Huat Party Set ($125) good for 8 pax but tbh can feed more than that LOL

I had the beef version, was decent but meat was a little tough. Should have opted for chicken instead.

Albeit priced than Sushiro’s rendition but these come with Mentaiko on top. Issa good deal.

Shiok, noodles were al dente and chewy, good if you feel carbs.

Wasn’t expecting much but this was surprisingly good. Was pretty sizeable for a mini size and satisfied my chirashi itch. Would order again.

Not bad but a little pricey ($11.90). Got real Alfredo cream inside.

Ordered the steamed chicken rice here and it was really good. But it’s a shame that the woman who served me was extremely rude. Not sure what was up with her but she did a lot of glaring and eye rolling and talked to me in a super snarky tone. I’d order from here again but I just hope I won’t have to deal with her again if I do.

Haven’t had Hong Heng Fried Sotong Prawn Mee for quite some time and I’m sad to say that the quality has dropped. Noodles lacked wok hei and prawn broth wasnt as rich as I remember it to be. Weirdly enough, I read some recent reviews saying that the noodles had so much wok hei till the point where it tasted too smokey so I’m confused lol. Hopefully they buck up so they can maintain their Michelin Bib Gourmand title.

Old Shifu Charcoal Porridge opened a few months ago and it’s by the former chef of famous Ah Chiang Porridge that’s located a few streets away. I had high hopes for this place since I’m a fan of Ah Chiang but was left feeling a little disappointed. For one, the porridge here was on the blander side and I had to add quite a copious amount of soya sauce to make up for it. I guess the good thing is that it probably means they don’t add MSG. I did love their ginger chicken and Thai-style tofu. If only their porridge was seasoned better!
