Striploin Beef Set - $28.90
Honestly, this dish is a little pricey. If not for the eatigo 50% discount this dish might not be worth it. Served with diced seasoned potatoes, asparagus, mayonnaise salad, 180gm striploin and mushroom black pepper sauce.
The asparagus is a little small and miserable. It is tasty but the portion is a little small. I ordered medium rare for the steak but it was a little over-cooked (more like a medium well steak). Potatoes are seasoned well too. The black pepper mushroom sauce taste average as well.
The service is really good and the staff was very willing to change my steak to how I wanted it to be.
Salmon Pancake - $18.90
This dish is served with 3 slices of pancakes, 1/3 a plate of scrambled eggs, salmon, maple syrup and a bowl of hollandaise sauce.
Generally, the salmon and the eggs are really good. The salmon is rather fresh and tasty while the eggs is soft and semi-cooked, making it very awesome. The eggs is not too blend and sufficiently seasoned. The pancakes can be a little powdery. The hollandaise sauce is fantastic and goes really well with the salmon. They are very generous with the sauce as well.
Pesto Fries ($8.50)
Their fries are awesome! Thick shoestring potato fries that are more salty than most fries out there, making it extremely tasty. To top it off, it is accompanied with an awesome homemade pesto cream sauce that goes really well with the fries.
Dish name: Arora Prawn ($18)
This is one of the pasta dishes in this restaurant. They use linguine with cream, tomato sauce mixed with fresh prawns and red peppers.
The prawns are surprisingly fresh! The taste of the sauce is more sour than creamy but not too sour to the extend it is over-powering. The portion is just right.
One of the mains in this place and it’s signature dish: 4+U Duck Confit ($18)
Served with the drum part of the duck, spicy duck fat linguine and a simple salad side. The taste of the spicy linguine is normal and not super fantastic. The duck taste not too bad but it is a little tough and dry. It would be better if it is softer. The salad side is just a pile of vegetables without much dressing.
Overall, this is an average duck confit and not the best I have tried out there.
However, the atmosphere and the service is excellent. They can be rather busy during peak hours so give them a while to get to you. Otherwise, every staff is extremely friendly and ever ready to go the extra mile.
Red Velvet Waffles with 2 scoops (Run & Raisins and Spooky Dark Chocolate) - $14.70

2) Syrup of your choice (more than 6-7 different choices)

The S’mores and Strawberry Shortcake waffles are known to be the best selling here.
There is a wait time depending on the crowd. There would be a longer wait time after 9.30pm onwards, towards the late night period.
Peony Jade’s Signature Fried Cappuccino Pork Ribs Paired with Crispy Roasted Duck
This is the signature dish of the restaurant. The flesh of the duck is tender and not too tough. The best part about this dish is the skin of the duck. It is super crispy and accompanies the tender flesh of the duck well. The pork ribs is soft and tender as well and you can taste the rice flavour of the coffee essence behind it. The blend of these 2 meats goes well together.

Braised Tender Duets Seasonal Greens with Slices Australian 2-Head Abalone
This dish is a mixture of broccoli and spinach with rich and tender abalone slices. It is accompanied with a thick and rich oyster mushroom sauce. Some of the broccoli stalks may look a little yellow but it is braised just nice and crunchy. The spinach is cooked well and soft enough that you can swallow it directly without much chewing! Where most places serves more of the stem from the spinach, this place serves more of the leafy parts.
Double-boiled Premier Shark’s Fin Bouillon with Conpoy and Chinese Mushroom (Soup/Broth Section)
Look at the amount of shark’s fin given. The soup that accompanies the shark’s fin is thick but not too starchy. They are generous with the mushroom and scallop inside. Every scoop is rich with some ingredient. The soup might be a little salty but it does not over power the entire taste of the soup. Overall, it is not too bad.

Oyster Vegetables - $3 / $5
The noodles are fantastically springy with a strong noodle taste. Not the manufactured kind but the hand-made kind. The wanton is juicy and not too dry. The blend of this two awesome things goes well together. Add in the chill on your own. But beware that it is very spicy.
