Usually don't like brown sauce on steaks since most are thickened using some form starch, but this brown sauce is quite legit. Not an expert om brown sauce, but I'm pretty sure it was made by deglazing the pan? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway, the steak was unfortunately overcooked although I ordered medium-rare. Not sure if they thought we wouldn't know as the brown sauce kinda enveloped the meat. Hopefully next time they'll get it right.
Oh, the sides were pleasant. Really interesting to see the whole carrots.
Rating: 3.5 / 5 (might have been higher if they didn't overcook it)
The ingredients were really fresh, and the portion was quite reasonable. The rice was a little too sticky, but still nice in terms of seasoning and taste. Would definitely try this again if I have the chance.

Disclosure: Got this via MealPal, so I'm not sure if this is a standard menu item.
Basically the size of large burger, but with the moist marinated pork meat wrapped up in the steam chinese bun. It was fun & entertaining to eat because of the size and the history/rationale behind the name of the pau. 😏 But I wouldn't take the effort to try this again. $4 feels kinda expensive for a pau, albeit a huge one.

Nice dose of truffle oil & good fair portion of mushrooms over the patty. But as brought up before, the beef patty is a tad overcooked and dry.

Everything was pretty good with a fairly large portion of ingredients. However, the beef patty was a tad too dry and perhaps alil overcooked.

Not too bad, but perhaps I should have paid the extra dollar to get the seafood version instead of the pork one.

Duck was rich tasting, obviously since it has been cooked in its own fat! Thankfully, the orange-tinged gravy brought a nice refreshing cut to the otherwise rich dish. One small observation was that the duck might have been slightly overcooked by a minute as the meat was kind of dry? Might have been perfect if it was removed from the heat slightly earlier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great dish! The fish was fresh and cooked just nicely. The sauteed potatoes was a perfect match with the fish, making the entire dish complete. Really liked this dish, would definitely be back again for this! 👍🏻

The lamian was not that spicy, but good enough for most i guess. If you want sth spicy, you'll definitely have to go elsewhere.
The wanton was well cooked, but not that spicy either.

I really liked the pineapple fried rice as is. It had the sweetness of the pineapples, but still savoury enough. It wasn't that oily either. The crabmeat tho left more to be desired, it was kinda dry and bland. I thought I was eating overcooked chicken meat at times haha. But overall still a lovely dish (ignoring the crabmeat).
Rating: 3.5/5 (would have been 4/5 if the crabmeat was cooked better and less dry/bland-tasting)
Tangy and savoury, just the way thai fried kway teows are supposed to be. The prawns were quite large, tasty, fresh and thankfully they weren't overcooked. I guess the only things missing were the crushed peanuts & sugar? Overall, we loved it!

Not the best, but definitely good enough to satisfy any BCM cravings! 👍🏻
