The chicken in the curry gravy was overcooked and dry. They could have really forgo that chicken from the gravy and left it as a veg curry gravy. The chicken cutlet was nice, close in texture and taste to the mos chicken drumstick.

Great place for ice cream. Really liked the less mainstream flavours - Pulut Hitam & Thai Milk Tea - as they weren't overly sweet and quite close to the original taste!

Also, you can't go wrong with the chocolate & black forest flavours, though I definitely had better dark/chocolate ice cream elsewhere 😋

After watching food king, I was looking forward to trying this dish! Went on a Sunday, started queuing at 3.10pm and waited roughly 15mins. The queue behind me was getting longer and longer.

Finally got my order taken, and excitedly brought it back to the table. First look/impressions: Wet/damp type, sticky looking, prawny smell, good portion of ingredients. First taste: great texture, wok hei was there (but could have been more pronounced), broth lacked something (perhaps not enough or lack of pork bones?), fresh ingredients...

It was one of the better ones in sg, but I still ain't convinced why it was recommended by food king. Perhaps consistency is an issue here?

The sio bah (roasted pork) was well roasted with crispy skin. The char siew was nice too, but unfortunately, I didn't get the fatty char siew. Overall, I felt this was good, but wasn't great. Something was definitely lacking. Perhaps, it would fare better with a slightly heavier marinate? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Second time having this. First time was nubbad (@ One Marina), but this one from DUO Galleria was poor. Too much tomato paste was applied on the dough (you can see how red the pizza is), resulting in an overly-tangy pizza that overpowered the savoury taste of the parma ham and bitterness of the rockets. Hope this is just a one-off in terms of consistency and quality.

This turned out better than I expected. Read reviews saying that its an "angmoh" version of kiam chye (chinese salted veggies), but this is definitely not the case. The pickled sides were nice and brought a nice zing to the overall taste - not too sour but sour enough & cleans the palate for your next bite.

The beef was well roasted, still medium pink in the middle, and coated with a pleasant mustard-based sauce. Only thing that could be improved is the thickness of the slices, would have been easier and more enjoyable to eat if the roasted beef was sliced more thinly 👍🏻

First time trying Anago (saltwater eel) vs the more common unagi (freshwater eel). I must say I'm not astute enough to tell the difference, but this was a decent don. Another disclaimer, this was ordered via MealPal and its my understanding this is not offered on their usual lunch menu. Perhaps the missing ingredients would have elevated this dish further - from decent to good? - will have to try their anago foie gras donburi from the standard lunch menu to find out!

The reverso chocolate flavour was awesome, dark enough and not too sweet with nice mix of brownie 😋
The teh tarik flavour was a nice companion to the reverso chocolate as it provided some "lightness" and cleaned the palate for another bite of chocolate. Great combination imo!

Unlike the maguro tataki, the scallops and the salmon were better seasoned. Definitely a whole lot better and would try this again (albeit with Burpple 1-for-1).

The maguro tataki was not seasoned enough imo. I would have preferred it to be more heavily seasoned as the tuna used was not that flavourful to begin with. Overall dish is quite sparse too, so it was pretty bland. I wouldn't want to try this again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
