1f1 tasting portion Tried the lamb ragu and the mentaiko pasta. We chose the pumpkin Pasta with the ragu sauce but we felt another pasta would have went better with the rich sauce. I love the lamb sausage too with the feta. The mentaiko was nice as usual. We also tried the mushroom soup but it was pretty mid. Very worth work burpple deal!

Tiramisu ($8.90) Small and it was served just in a small container. The alcohol taste was quite strong and the mascarpone was sweet and creamy, but we couldn’t really taste the coffee in it. All in all, average and not memorable.

Ragu ($25.90) with Beetroot Lunghi I thought this would look better but the aesthetic was a bit lacking. The portion was also small and the beef was tough. The beef cubes were flavourful, but very tough (full of tendons that were very tough to bite). The sauce for this was quite watery too and didn’t stick to the beetroot Lunghi well.

Argentina striploin Ordered the striploin. We got the wedges and sautéed mushrooms on the sides. We ordered a medium steak, and I enjoyed the portion. Heard that they are closing down soon though due to high rent. Would miss this place.

Mushroom spinach ravioli Love this rendition of ravioli cause it’s not creamy. It’s tasty. Ordered this a few time and would always order again.

"Le Char Siew" Claypot Chicken Rice @ $13/$24 Le Char Siew, as I know most Singaporean pronounce it this way; serves excellent Claypot Chicken Rice. Le Chasseur is ever present in everyone's list of top 10 claypot Rice in Singapore. They used to be located near clark quay central way back in 2013. Unlike other places, long grain Basmati Rice is used in their claypot chicken rice. Chicken meat used here are boneless, salted fish portions are generous as well. Overall 4/5 for me, its so good, I actually came back the next day to eat it again, since I was nearby.

Har Cheong Gai This prawn paste boneless chicken is an old school recipe style. Like the hot plate tofu, although good, nothing really special. Portion a little small Can order to add variety to your claypit chicken rice.

Fish Meat Steamboat 308 Fish Steamboat has been around Clementi Ave 4 for almost a decade. Used to frequent this zhi char store regularly as I was staying nearby. This zhi char store serves excellent fish head steamboat, better to make reservations if planning a family dinner as it does get crowded during dinner time. The Fish Meat was cut into thick slices. So damn fresh. After dipping into the steamboat, the fish meat was so soft and tender. The soup was also very flavourful, with thick slices of fried fish inside as well. Take note, one staff here is renowned to be rather unfriendly, and will not bother to serve u unless your entire group has arrived, even if u want to order first. Food is good though, just need to bare the attitude of the 1 service staff that takes order. The other staff are friendly.

Claypot Pig Liver 308 Fish Steamboat has been around Clementi Ave 4 for almost a decade. Used to frequent this zhi char store regularly as I was staying nearby. This zhi char store serves excellent fish head steamboat, better to make reservations if planning a family dinner as it does get crowded during dinner time. The Claypot Pig Liver is one of their signature dish, lots of Google reviews stating how great this was. The Luver was cooked well, meat of soft and tende4, yet not under or over cooked. The addition of the spring onions just made the entire dish damn fagrant. Kimchi Fried Rice It's okay, but why the kimchi so damn sour!

Simple and Good Sunny Korean have a few outlets in Singapore, so this isn't the first tine I had them. Simple, good & affordable. Coffee shop prices. Sizzling hot when served. Serves with kimchi & spicy ikan bilis.

Hot Plate Bibimbap Went there during lunchtime with a group of friends. Business was brisk for the restaurant. Taste so far so good, the food came out warm and self collect.

Kimchi Fried Rice@ $11 One of the better Kimchi Fried rice I ever had. Fried rice mixed with crabstick meat and their self made kimchi. It wasn't so spicy, but it was indeed flavourful.

Hot Plate Bbq Chicken@$10 Surprisingly Good, was not expecting a non-spicy version to be honest. So expectations were very low as I like my food spicy. Dish was flavourful. Chicken was tender, not overcooked whatsoever. +$1 for Additional Egg.

Jajangmyeon Jajangmyeon was only rather ok here. Nothing really special.

Dry Beef noodles @$7/$10 Zheng Yi Hainanese Beef Noodles is one of the popular top few beef noodles in Singapore. And has been around for quite some time. Menu here is not extensive. U either want it dry or want it in soup. Avaliable in $7 & $10 portions. The sauce for the dry version was rather thick and flavourful. The beef were tender and fresh. Portion was rather good.

Beef Noodles (SGD $7) @ Zheng Yi Hainanese Beef Noodles. While compiling this list, I've discovered that the Potong Pasir to Kallang Bahru stretch seems to be the beef noodle enclave of Singapore, with up to 4 famous stalls all in proximity in these areas. . This go-to stall for many serves a delicious rendition, thanks to its thick gloopy gravy infused with beef stock, herbs, and spices, giving it an addictive meaty sweet savoury herbal flavour. . The thick fresh beef slices have a succulent chew, the beef balls are slightly springy, and the beef tripe is spongy, all with meaty savoury sweet salty flavour. . Beef Rendang Nasi Padang Coba Kedai Kopi is an outlet store of Coba Coba, a rather popular Nasi padang/ambeng store at Yishun. Very Popular with the lunch crowd, despite its rather ulu location. Returned for 2nd time, this time have the beef rendang and fried chicken wing. Beef Rendang was quite tasty. And portion was rather large. Chicken wing was great. Crispy and the batter was flavourful, can taste a bit if spice.

Basic Basic not just for the stuff I ordered, but for the quality. Quite disappointed. I expect more from Malay nasi lemak.

Extra Shiok Chicken Wing Chicken Wing definitely the main attraction here. Well marinated with typical Muslim food spices, so it's salty and spicy. The batter was damn crispy. Basmati rice is used here, and it's Cooked with ikan bilis. Chilli also rather good, and got ikan billis inside too. Be warned, This hawker centre gets very crowded during breakfast and lunch time. It's difficult to find seats.

Nasi Lemak Set Super Shiok Nasi Lemak serve affordable Nasi Lemak Set from $2.80. What I ordered is the Nasi Lemak Set 3 which includes fragrant basmati rice served with very well marinated crispy fried chicken, fried Kuning fish, fried egg, ikan bills, peanut and generous sweet & spicy chilli at $3.80.
