Waffle is crispy and yummy. Ice-cream served in big portion as can be seen from the photo. $11.80 for 2 waffles if i'm not wrong. Did not particularly enjoy the drink though. I'd suggest just stick to the usual coffee/mocha/chocolate.

Pictured is the lunch set at Chock Full of Beans, priced at $16.90. Each pasta set comes with a pasta and a drink (minimum top up of $2 for other drinks, such as my Hazelnut Latte).

Spaghetti with Prawn Arrabbiata
7 pieces of de-shelled, clean prawns, cherry tomato, chilli, garlic, tomato sauce, Parmesan and parsley. Sounds like it's going to be packed with flavours, but I felt the dish was lacking some spice. Even though the item was marked with 2 chilli padis, I didn't think it was that spicy. The spaghetti could also be more al-dente. That said, the ratio of prawns to spaghetti was ideal, with sufficient prawns to last me through the meal.

Hazelnut Latte with 3D Latte Art
A trip here would amount to nothing without ordering a cuppa with 3D latte art, which only comes with the flavoured coffees and latte. Personally, I enjoyed my hazelnut latte. The hazelnut syrup was fragrant and not overly sweet, which also allows the coffee flavours their due attention.

Chock Full of Beans is located along Changi Village Road, near the Changi Village Food Centre. Set lunch is served from 1100-1500 on Tues to Fri.

Almost too cute to drink, these took as long, if not faster to arrive compared to other 'craft' coffee cafes, and were just as good to boot. The iced latte($6) was strong and smooth with a distinct coffee flavour that wasn't drowned out by the milk or ice. The walnut brownie latte ($6.50) was similarly luscious but enhanced with the judicious use of flavoured syrup that lent nutty, chocolatey caramel notes without being overpowering in the sugar department. Quality was most certainly not compromised in favour of gimmickry.

Taste: 4/5

For crispy charcoal waffles and salted egg yolk sauce. The sauce actually comes in a separate small cup for you to drizzle over your waffles and ice cream. Pretty decent selection of ice cream flavors.

Salmon kaisen don ($12.90) and everyone's favourite truffle yakiniku don ($14.90) - you won't go wrong with their (generally) affordable rice bowls that make filling AND aesthetic lunches.
