Beef Sukiyaki with Onsen Egg Rice -$12
The Sukiyaki dish consists of thinly sliced meat, usually beef, simmered in a pot of soy sauce, sugar and Mirin; an essential condiment in Japanese cuisine. It is a type of rice wine very similar to sake, however subtly sweet with a lower alcohol content which gets reduced further when heated during cooking.

Beef was tender and flavourful and and miso soup was garnished with bits of tofu and scallion which was not overly salty which is a good thing.

Sliced Medium Rare Beef Pho - $6
This the most popular version; made with beef and originating from the northern part of Vietnam. Broth is made by simmering the beef bones and meat for about at least six hours which not even considered a very long time as there are chefs who cook it for over 70 hours. Soup was warmly spiced and the greens used for garnishing gave the broth a good amount of flavour.
