$18 (before 1 for 1 with Burpple Beyond)
The carbonara was a bit underwhelming. Flavour of the bacon and creaminess of the egg was not infused into the noodles. A bit more on the watery side.
The plus points would be that they give more than the average amount of pasta and they were generous with the bacon, which was fried just right. Wonāt be back for this dish.

Laksa sauce was a little too runny for a pasta dish for my liking, felt a little thicker than normal laksa soup. Wasnāt anything very special but delicious laksa still though.
Probably would grab a bowl of laksa over this since itās cheaper anyway.
Had 2 double scoops (Earl grey Lavender with Thai Milk Tea in the foreground and Plain ole Chocolate with Sea Salt Gula Melaka in the background). The earl grey lavender was nice and floral, not too overwhelming. Thai Milk Tea was a bit on the sweet side. Plain ole chocolate was rich and not too sweet. Sea Salt Gula Melaka was a very nice blend of sweet and savoury which, when paired with a sweeter flavour, lifts the overall profile of the ice cream.
The cafe had a nice warm feel to it with its wooden furnishings. Coupled with the smell of freshly made waffles, Iām definitely coming back again!
If you love cheese and fried chicken, this is a must order. With a pile of fried chicken sitting in a pool of melted cheese, it was the perfect dish for any chicken and cheese lover. Topped with a cheesy sauce that complimented the savoury flavours of the dish. Will be back for more!
A bingsu with generous amounts of mango, topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For its size it can be shared among 2-3 people easily. Which makes it easier on the pocket as it is going at $18.90 per bowl.
What I like about this bingsu store is the way they make their shaved ice. Unlike other stores where the ice underneath is just plain ice, this one has added milk in between so itās not too plain as you progress with the dish. Will be back for more!
4 Course Meal
$98++ for 2 people
Today we had the sheās risotto (background) and the Ro Ppong-Roje (foreground)! Ro Ppong-Roje is a creamy tomato based Jjamppong, or Korean Chinese noodles. Filled with seafood such as prawns, squid and mussels, and topped off with a generous serving of mozzarella cheese. The tomato base was a really nice touch as it made the meal more balanced and not too overwhelming. Really tasty and have had this twice in the both times I was here.
Sheās risotto is a take on the singaporean chilli crab. With a soft shell crab served upon a bed of rice in sweet and spicy sauce, it was a really nice dish on a whole and would definitely be back for more. Got both dishes at a 1-for-1 promotion!
Popped by the store for some after dinner dessert! Interesting concept; the warm caramelised sugar crust goes well with the cool custard and cold soft serve ice cream underneath. They sell soft serve ice cream and gelatos too.
Itās a novel idea but didnāt really leave a lasting impression. One of those interesting foods that Iāll try once but probably wonāt return for more. At $8 a cone, the price point was a bit steep.
Truffle beef Bowl: Generous amounts of sliced beef infused with the flavour of truffle. Topped off with an onsen egg, this is a rice bowl that I would definitely come back for more.
Mentaiko Salmon Bowl: They serve their salmon in chunky cubes, which gives a very good mouth feel when you bite into them. Blowtorched and topped off with a generous amount of mentaiko sauce, it was a real treat for mentaiko lovers.
Green King (as pictured): $15.90
White King: $13.90
Got the White King for a traditional tonkotsu ramen that was packed with flavour. Delicious broth.
Green King was a fusion dish infused with basil and olive oil, making the soup thicker than normal. Might be āgelatā for those who prefer lighter flavours but an interesting and delicious combination still.
Will be back for more when craving a good bowl of tonkotsu ramen
$2.50/$3.00
Noodles have a bouncy texture and soup is tasty. The addition of chilli pieces gives the soup a little spice.
Priced at $8, it is certainly more expensive than other similar stores outside! However, portions are huge and leave you full! Definitely a guilty pleasure :-)
