Lovely Artisanal Teas in Raffles Xchange The iced Melona Manpuku tea with winter jelly was a green tea brew with subtle hints of muskmelon. Read more: https://www.misstamchiak.com/roji-chaseki/

Purple Sweet Potato Iced Lattero ROJI Purple Sweet Potato Iced Lattero ROJI ($6.40) . @RojiChaseki recently opened at Raffles Exchange and carries a range of aromatic teas with samples displayed prominently at the store front. I smelt each test tube and fell in love with the scents from all of them but for starters, I tried their Purple Sweet Potato Iced Lattero as the warm weather really demanded an iced cold treat. The drink came with complimentary cheese foam which I found to be way better than those served at Liho and Heetea as the cheese flavour was light and only served to give you that smooth soothing mouth-feel with each gulp. The purple sweet potato taste was also very distinct with tinge of roastiness which I really enjoyed. My only gripe about the place was its lack of manpower which was essentially a one-man show that led to a 25 minutes wait with just 4 customers in front of me. Kudos to the service staff who remained pleasant and polite and got all the orders correct in the face of a small crowd of customers waiting!

Living This Moment Now 'Living this moment now', the phrase on the cup says. Chanced upon this tea shop while walking kinda aimlessly around the area trying to find a nice drink to quench my thirst. Being adventurous as always, I decided to get from this shop and chose Tsubaki Oolong with golden pearls to be safe (the Xoxolat Hojicha seems interesting too). The price for the basic teas are standard ($3.50 for hot and $4.50 for cold) unless you are getting flavoured fruit teas or iced lattero. And the basic teas come with free toppings too! The tea tasted refreshing with a hint of something that I cannot pinpoint to (my dad thinks that it's an Indian spice lol) - I'm guessing it might be camellia flower since Tsubaki means camellia flower in Japanese. I'm glad to see more tea shops popping up in SG selling a variety of basic teas. Can't wait to try the hojicha next!

🎶So I’m wondering, can we still be FRENs? 🎶 If I share this FRENch toast maybe? 😉 . No reservations are allowed at One Man Coffee so be prepared to wait or be nestled outside, just like my group of 6 did! 😔😔😔 It was scorching hot on this fateful Sunday but the tables inside were perpetually occupied (which the crew promised me twice to move me in ~20-30mins when other customers left but it never happened! 😭 Oh wells!) As much as the environment was unpleasant, it still enjoyed my catch-up with my close friends! ❤ . Their rendition of French Toast ($15) surely satisfied my sweet tooth! 😍😍😍 Featuring thick French toasts with caramelised banana, strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts & salted caramel, plus an additional scoop of vanilla ice cream (+$4), this certainly made an indulgent treat. 👍🏻 . Our vanilla ice cream dusted with cocoa powder melted really fast & was reduced to a pool of creamy swirl due to the scorching hot weather 🔥🔥🔥 (& we were seated outdoors due to unavailability of indoor seats). . Thankfully, the thick fluffy toast served as good sponges to soak up the melted ice cream, which salvaged the ice cream a bit. 😋😋😋 Fans of cinnamon would surely like this as much as I did as the pillowy-soft toast was slathered with a generous amount of cinnamon flavouring, topped with a snow of icing sugar. 💕 . Applause to the caramelised bananas for being perfectly done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That alluring gloss on the nicely-browned sugar was truly reminiscent of the top layer of crème brulee, rendering a good crunch when paired with the naturally sweet & soft bananas. 😋😋😋 Both the slightly sourish strawberries & blueberries as well as the crunchy toasted walnuts balanced out the overall taste profile a bit 💯, though I would have appreciated more of them to achieve a greater balance. ✔ . Overall, this was a dessert plate that I enjoyed a lot. ✌🏻 Besides the 1-for-1 deal under #BurppleBeyond, it would have been even more enjoyable if the ice cream lasted longer & had more tangy fruits! 😊

10/10 Breakfast!!! Super worth 1 for 1 on beyond! Tried the highly raved salted caramel french toast and gashouse eggs, definitely did not disappoint!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Gashouse eggs was really a very good mix of runny egg wrapped in melted cheesey goodness 😍 bacon jam also had the right amount of savoury feels to go with it. French toast was very fluffy and went very well with the salted caramel dip 🙌🏻 personally found it a little dry and crumbly inside, but it’s ok if paired with the caramelized bananas. Coffee was mediocre, a bit acrid.

👉Baked Eggs Cocotte👈 Two Eggs, Chorizo, Garbanzo Beans and Crushed Wasabi Peas; Served with Sourdough 。 Featured in Burpple’s guide as one of the twelve best cafes in Singapore, @onemancoffee is honoured to stand out along the row of shophouses at Upper Thomson Road, with its coffee from @nyloncoffee and sumptuous all-day brunch. 。 This brought me memories of having a comforting breakfast at @yakunkayatoastsg, but with an European twist to it. Though it was already filling enough for me, I wished there were more slices of sourdough to go along with the beautiful concoction. 。 P.S. You can enjoy 1-for-1 deals here using Burpple Beyond! Gula Meleka Waffles Look at the serving of (salted caramel) ice cream!!!! There was too much ice cream and too little waffle. But then again, waffle machines usually come in fixed sizes.... Overall a decent waffle, though pricey ($16 I think?)

Have always felt that Craftsmen serves one of the best iced mocha around, so we decided to pay them a visit again to try out their Craftsmen Big Breakfast ($25) and Craftsmen Big Burger ($21)! For every big breakfast meal, my first line of business would be to attack the eggs as I feel that the quality of it would be a good gauge for the rest of the ingredients. Nestled on top of a sourdough bread, the scrambled eggs were pretty creamy, although it did lack the oomph factor. The bacon and sausages were slightly tough and dry, and I would have appreciated the sautéed mushrooms being more juicy! For the burger set, we love the sweet potato fries which were thick and crisp to perfection. The meat patty in the burger was not as flavourful as we expected though. 😔 No doubt that the meal was hearty as it filled us up nicely, but we felt that the food was pretty mediocre for its price. 🤔 Location-wise, it is definitely more convenient as compared to other cafes, so it is a good place to catch up with your friends over a cup of cuppa! The ANTicipated scale ⚖ 👅Flavour: 7 ants 💰Value: 7 ants 📍Convenience: 8 ants

Iced Roasted Almond Latte ($7) Just a sip and you can taste the roast. Probably the largest cup of iced latte served in a cafe.
