Can't resist yam related dishes and desserts.
The yam filling tasted alright, not too sweet and has light fragrant of yam. The sponge cake was little disappointing, the exposed area of the cake tasted dry.
Well, that doesn't stop me from trying other items on the menu and cake counter.
Ambience wise is good for all. A good location amongst the greenery to chill and relax, away from the bustling city. Take some time to admire the good old days items on display at the restaurant too.
Was surprised that Pi Food serves dishes similar to a Hong Kong char chan teng! The outlook of the restaurant looks very modern, bright and spacious.
Roasted pork belly has right balance of lean and fatty meat. Skin is roasted till crispy.
Char siew comes in thick slices and succulent. Goes so well with a bowl of steamed pearl rice.
Looking forward to try their day time menu.
Walked into CLOVE for some burger and shakers. It used to be a buffet restaurant but it reopened with a new casual dining concept. Good selection of burgers, salads, plant based items, sides and shakes! The dessert looks good too!
Ordered Mr Gorden Blue, ham and cheese stuffed with chicken, cranberry jam on bun and green. It comes with thick cut fries too. Bun was soft and juicy chicken. Combinatiom with cheese was light, not overwhelmingly rich. Thick cut fries remains crispy almost throughout the meal.

Quail egg which is dainty and bite size. Not huge like a normal egg.
Chorizo pork sausage is juicy! Loving the bite size tapas.
Lemon Cruffin, Salted Caramel Cruffin and Peanut Butter Jelly Cruffin! All these are lovely bakes! How should I describe it... Crunchy on the outside and soft inside? Overall, a good combination of texture and taste.
A small bakery with nice selection of bakes... Recommend to pre-order and have your preferred bake reserved, as those lovely bakes gets sold out quickly.
Look forward to try more bakes!
A french cafe along Bukit Timah. Tucked in a corner with limited seatings, do make reservations to secure your seats.
Ordered an Egg Florentine, comes with poached eggs nicely done up with ozzy yolk resting on a bed of spinach and toast. I was surprised by the generous serving of spinach though it appeared little.
Their selection of bakes looks good too. Chou-chou, croissant, loaves of bread and etc...
The huge thick slab of pumpkin pancake is so good! Poached egg done to its perfection with ozzy yolk and generous portion of smoked salmon.
Had hollandaise sauce on the side to prevent the pancake from being soaked with sauce.
Beautiful combination for a good brunch!
Grilled iberico pork loin with mushroom sauce and a side of your choice.
The loin is nicely sliced to bite size. It's succulent, soft and tender. Has not once been disappointed with the food at The Winery.
Can't say no to it when I saw it on the display, Strawberry Chou Chou.
It was soft and the strawberry filling wasn't too sweet, but if you've sweet tooth the icing on top does the job to sweeten up the whole experience in your mouth.
I swept away the icing on top as it's a little too much for me. Absolutely will be back to try the other pastry items.
If you loves mild coffee with lots of milk, this is a drink you'll enjoy.
Nice location for people watching while sipping your coffee away.
A simple and light soupy dish to warm yourself up on a cold day. The portion may looks small but it's not. Apart from the fish cake, the other fried items taste good too.
Service was prompt and fuss free.

It's creamy rich! Plenty of bacon, some mushroom and topped with an onsen egg plus parmesan.
An Alice in the Wonderland theme dining venue. Selection on menu is not overwhelming, saves the headache of being spoilt for choices. But the cakes on display is a headache! All of it looks so delish!
Oh... Expect a little surprise while you're having a good conversation. It plays a wide genres of music, expect the unexpected as it's part of The CD Shop.
