($11.8++)
It's expensive alright but we get the Doraemon Container which is quite nice! It's served inside it so we could eat it on the go but it's troublesome as hell. But the wedges is soooo good, it's crispy and soft on the inside, served with spices that tasted like seaweed spice. We also got the curry mayonaise that really tasted like MonCur's curry sauce!
What I looovvee about this is their wedges served in small bite-size cut instead of the usual big humongous cut so we could enjoy a lots of potato!
Blue calpis soda ($5.9++)
If you ever had calpis then this tastes like one, hahaha. Just a bit more to the sour side and the soda is not as strong. The aftertaste after you mix it is sweet because of the cream on top.
Strong point: it's so cute with Doraemon's color!
Mala ($24 for 2-3pax)
The variety of veggie and meat in this mala is so so so much! We can choose a lot of things and since there's a lot of ingredients we can choose a lot of people with different favorite foods can join and eat together!
The mala in here doesn't have cilantro, instead they give scallions on top! The mala in here also tastes a bit more on the sweet side so it's not as spicy as the other stalls, but it's very good!
Inside the briyani there is some meat inside, depends on the meat you choose. We try the mutton, chicken, and prawn. The mutton a bit spicier and chicken also soft and great, but the prawn is not that good, it's hard and doesn't taste that fresh.
The briyani is dry and tastes good, the curry sauce is very spicy while the yogurt (white sauce) is mild and softer with a lots of onions. If the curry is too spicy we can mix it with the yogurt to balanced it out.
The buttermilk chicken is also soft and tender, the curry sauce is spicy but the buttermilk balance it out to be sweeter and a bit salty so it's not too spicy. This tastes very great eaten with nasi briyani or even with naan!
The naan is good! It's a bit chewy but tastes very nice, also good if mixed with the curry sauce or eat as-is.
There's also fried chicken masala that MUCH MUCH BETTER but I can't take any picture of it. The fried chicken masala is sooo crispy and yet tender and the spice is drier.
This chicken masala is a bit spicy and sooo soft!
This drink is sooo sweet and yet refreshing! The mango mixed with yogurt tastes sweet but not so sweet it makes you sick, so it's perfect. Also a perfect match for the spicy curry of Indian. If you can't handle spiciness, better order this to balance it out!
Seafood pancake ($20)
Unfortunately the jeon (korean pancake) tastes like dough in here. Usually they mix flour egg and some other stuff to make jeon, in here it seems like they throw half bag of flour so it's feel doughy and not crispy or tastes as good as the one in tanjong pagar.
Super friendly restaurant and a nice atmosphere to eat. It's a bit pricey but for me it's so worth it once in a while.
Side dish (free!)
Just like most korean restaurant they provide a lot of free side dish. The kimchi and pickled radish is soo fresh and my favorite in here.
Super friendly restaurant and a nice atmosphere to eat. It's a bit pricey but for ne it's so worth it once in a while.
Jjajangmyeon (lunch $10 dinner $12 upsize +$2)
One of the best jjajangmyeon I ever have! The sauce is sooo good and the meat and onion just complement it perfectly. There's a lot of onion inside but it's not taste or smells like onion, instead it tastes sweet. The noodle is thick and springy, do ask for scissors if you find it hard to eat it since the noodle is heavy and easily tangled.
Super friendly restaurant and a nice atmosphere to eat. It's a bit pricey but for ne it's so worth it once in a while.
Naengmyeon (around ~$14, I forgot)
Korean glass noodle with cold refreshing soup. This is the totally perfect dish under the blazing sun! I thought it will be just cold with plain taste, luckily I'm wrong. It's cold and super refreshing! I'm not sure how to describe the tastes but it the same feeling when it's super hot outside and you drink a fresh orang juice, fresh! It's not heavy so we could take it down easily when it's hot outside. The meat is a bit hard but still delicious and perfect with the soup!
Super friendly restaurant and a nice atmosphere to eat. It's a bit pricey but for ne it's so worth it once in a while.
