One of their signature items, this Peking duck pizza looked pretty normal but it was actually quite tasty! 😜

Using smoked duck and their own homemade hoi sin sauce, this tried-and-tested pizza combo was a hit at our table and sure to be a hit with the kiddos too. The menu did state there would be spring onions, though it was missing on ours.

Don't take too long to start on this though as the cheese is the kind that'll harden up! 👆

Now don't ask me how they put cod fillets in their FnC while charging you $13, but I'm not gonna question such a good thing. 😛

Lightly breaded, it's crisp, juicy and goes great with their homemade tartar sauce. Even their potato chips are made in-house and had us inhaling them (though they were just a teeny bit over-fried).

A place to celebrate a grandfather's love for motorbikes and his dream of opening a cafe, Cafe Racer was born. Not your typical cafe for the gram, but the food here surprised us with its great taste and simplicity.

Have The Populus Breakfast! Scramble eggs on croissant and topped with bacon! I love the way the bacon is done! Personally, I don't like it crispy. Hehe!

Whilst the mixed berries compote scythes at you with the seductively tarty vengeance of a most coquettish minx, the usually reliable waffle, though internally still proficient, had the wizened, sun-weathered skin of a Punggol-living septuagenarian. 3.5/5

Seriously spoiled by ATLAS. After them it's like I can't muster the effort to try elsewhere! The food's really that good. The Creamy Mushrooms on Sourdough here is a perfect example: simple scramble done well, topped with umami creamy shrooms laced with sweet roasted cherry tomatoes.

Having carved out a reputation for very well-executed signatures like the French Duck Confit, Mushroom Risotto and Pulled Duck Burger, I am really pleased that Chef Shaun isn't resting on his laurels. Instead, he continues to create new reasons to keep his customers returning. A fine example is this "Giant Prawn Risotto", a soon-to-be-launched dish on his "Secret Menu" that is more than aptly named.
I have happily slurped up the yummy Prawn Risotto previously, so for me, this is an upgraded, upsized, everything-also-upped version of it. Aside from the XXL prawns which bowled me over with their super fresh, firm and very sweet succulence, every chewy grain of the risotto also packed intense flavours of prawn stock and rich Parmesan. I thought the final act of torching the dish at the table was fun and interesting too.

Hands down one of the best risotto I've ever had. The risotto has captured in all the essence of the prawn stock plus it's creamy base making it so divine. Every single grain is so delicious. The giant prawn itself also had a firm and flavorful flesh, so mouth-watering!

my favourite dish at creatureS!
the risotto was well-executed with luscious creamy texture. every grain was plump and absorbed the seafood stock, and it achieved the right balance between softness and al dente.

Fell l in love with them at first bite!

Smooth, silky beancurd "custard" encased in buttery, crumbly pastry. At S$9 for a box of 8 tarts, this unpretentious, no frills tart is definitely worth the calories! #valueformoney
They also have mixed beancurd tarts with different fillings like grass jelly, peanuts, red bean, etc. Tried them before and I still prefer the original flavour. Shall try their durian beancurd tarts next time!

#LeCafeSG is also known for their golfball pineapple tarts, moon pies as well as traditional cakes & pastries. With so many F&B establishments opening daily, old school bakeries & confectioneries that stood the test of time are worth paying a visit(s)! Le Cafe is definitely one of them! #supportlocal
