From the Burpple community

At $5 per portion, the 红油抄手 comes with 8 bulbous dumplings that are filled with a savoury meat filling, boiled and drenched in a chilli oil and black vinegar mixture. Made to order, you can be guaranteed of the freshness of each dumpling and the dumpling skin is silky smooth that you can nearly slurp it down easily. There is a good balance of flavours from the tanginess in the black vinegar with a slight spicy kick from the chilli oil. All in all, great value for money and a dish that is worth considering when you are here.

Crossing a road from Din Tai Fung at Great World City brings you to an even more adorable option for Xiao Long Baos, Guo Tie, Dumplings in Chilli & Vinegar and La Mian! Value for money and satisfies those XLB cravings!

Hop over to Ah Wang La Mian Xiao Long Bao the next time you are at Zion Riverside Food Centre for some handmade noodles and dumplings. Priced affordably, the Xiao Long Baos, or steamed mini pork buns were pretty tasty even though they might not be the best around. Portion of meat wrapped within the thin bun skin was satisfying, with soup that was slightly sweet and umami packed. A stall that I would patronize when I am missing the XLBs in Shanghai!

Not bad but would be nicer with a thinner skin and jucier meat filling

This was my favourite compared to guo tie and xiao long bao. If was more sour than spicy (even my friend who doesnt take spicy food well could take it)

Went on a weekday night for dinner and there was a short queue, but queue moved quickly

红油抄手 ($4.50)

Wantons and the filling inside is nice. Soft but does not disintegrate. The sauce is not spicy and sour enough, added more vinegar on my own but still tasted a little sweet.
