The beef broth of the Specially Marinated Pork Chop Noodles in Beef Soup ($13.60) is surprisingly robust and goes well with the noodles and pork chop.
The Shrimp and Pork Wanton Noodles with Fiery Chilli Oil ($11.20) features big and crunchy wanton wrapped in thin dumpling skin. The chilli oil is quite spicy and I’m glad I didn’t mix everything in all at one go. Nonetheless, it is still pretty tasty!
The Feng Food Deluxe Dry Noodles ($14.20) features thin and firm noodles tossed in braised pork and served with pork chop, sunny side up and salted vegetables. Although the pork chop is not crispy, it is tender, juicy and flavourful.
The Sunrise Crispy Chicken Cutlet Rice ($14.20) comes with a huge fried chicken cutlet served with rice, a scoop of braised pork, salted vegetables and sunny side up. The chicken cutlet is very crispy and not oily at all. However, the chicken cutlet is a little under-seasoned and I wish it is more savoury.
My all time favourite will have to be the Hakka Style Braised Meat Rice ($9.10). The finely chopped pork belly has just the right balance of fats and meat and it is simmered till really soft in a savoury braise sauce. Together with a braised egg and salted vegetables, this is one delicious bowl of braised pork rice!
One of the best braised meat rice I’ve had: the braised meat was served piping hot, and the braised egg was properly flavoured all the way through. The sunny side up egg was fried just right, so the yolk added an extra richness to the meat & rice when mixed in. Definitely will be coming back to have this again.
