More Reviews of good food at A-One Claypot House (Chinatown Point)

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of this! The shrimp and wok hey taste was πŸ’―. Portion was super filling for 1 person.

We always wondered how A-one managed to open so many outlets despite its high price point. After trying it we were completely sold. Very fragrant, tasty and soft porridge that will leave you wanting more. We think that the side dishes and very good too and comparable to many zichar places.

Who knew that a simple spinach dish ended up being our favourite at A-one Signatures (and we also enjoyed all the rest)
The red dates brought out extra sweetness which complemented the slight wok hey taste in the vegetables, a must try!

A1 offers a menu of porridge, rice varieties as well as other hotplate dishes. Gongbao Chicken claypot rice is one of the Claypot Rice specialties available and the portion is good for two to share.

Thumb up especially coupled with the gravy of the chili frog legs

Very cramped spaces during dinnertime, the tables were packed a little too close for comfort, I wonder if the layout is fire-safety compliant. The Chicken & Mushroom rice lacked flavour and texture, definitely not cooked in the claypot. The 干贝艇仔η²₯ (Scallop Porridge) was better.

First day of opening at Chinatown Point (no location created yet so I tag the nearest), staff are all polite, thanking customers Nonstop, food wise, ingredients (fish, prawns, squids) are VERY FRESH.
Claypot hor fun S$6.90

$50 worth of food! the frog legs in dried chilli sauce (medium portion $18.90++) portion was quite little as compared to the frog leg places in geylang? I barely got any kick out of eating frog legs and the pot ran out of frog legs already haha. I think there was only less than 3 half legs?? And even for those visible frog legs we see, there was barely any meat on them. The 三色蛋 ($16.90++)also came totally different from how it was pictured in the menu. Because it looked just like steamed egg?! We had to verify the receipt and cut open the steamed egg to check that indeed there was minced meat and salted eggs in them. But they were really few and far between. To add up to the bill, we got a plain scallop porridge pot ($4.9++) and a water chestnut drink ($2.3++). So in total we paid $19 for the qoo10 voucher + a few cents more. I wouldn't say that the food was worth $50? For the price of $20 I can still accept, but still not fully satisfied 😁 #burpple #burpplesg #aoneclaypothouse #qoo10 #qoo10sg #froglegs #food #foodiesg #sgfoodie #whati8today #8dayseat #vscofoodie #iweeklyfood #foodporn #foodstagram #vscofood #foodphotography #sgmakan #sgmakandiary #sgfoodstagram #singaporeeats #exploresingaporeeats #exploresg #whatsgoodhere #sgfoodie
