The ππ‘ππππ π½πππ ππ£π π½πππ πππ‘π‘ π£π€π€ππ‘π π¨π€πͺπ₯ (~$7.80) definitely doesnβt skimp on ingredients. I know I should be raving about the beef but the chilli here is REALLY something. Thick, consistent and not too sweet, I loved coating the bouncy beef balls with it.π

Without a doubt one of the better beef noodles, simmered in a herby light broth. Not sure if it was this day but my beef was overdone, and missing the tender pinkish colour I was looking forward to π«

Soup was tasty and flavorful. Portion is pretty huge and definitely going to fill your tummy if you finish the entire bowl. Price wise, it was on the expensive side but for the quality and quantity, it was alright. Would try the gravy/dry option the next time!
Gave this one a try as they're closing next week. Gonna be missing the soup and fresh beef slices
Am not a big fan of beef noodles but Hock Lam serves one of the best versions in town. They are super generous with their beef balls too...I counted 8! (And Iβm not complaining π)
This was super delicious! A bowl of soupy goodness. The beef slices were tender and the beef balls were sufficiently Q with bite in them.
The kuay teow was also soft and the soup was tasty, with a herbal taste.
Try the chili, itβs super good with the noodles.
A friend informed me that the beef noodles at the shop is far more delicious than the beef noodles at the now closed Far East Square shop.
I have eaten here at least 4 times!
Love this place more than the China Street outlet. The cold weather really makes me crave soup all the time.
