prices here are unbeatable too. sooo good i want to try the phad thai next. tomyum soup and thai milk tea were okay only tho
泰式炒粿条的特色是鲜、咸、甜、酸、辣并存,缺一不可,通常使用豬油拌炒,秘诀是产生浓郁的鑊气,让味道更加香醇,如果像我们今天选择的海鲜版本会加虾,虾很新鲜、个头大,而且在炒制后依然保持食材的鲜甜味;
A really good version. The bite is almost perfect, bouncy and tender. Well marinated too w complex sweetness. Unfortunately no crisp but it's still delicious
Worth a try for sure
Good chunks of crab but not enough to explain it's mysterious umami. Because of the umami it's quite a well balanced dish, not bad at all
The veggie itself is quite unique, it's not really kailan. Kind of like a cross between Malabar and lettuce.
It's quite a good stir fry, and rather spicy
Crabmeat Fried Rice ($7) - nice but this was much better eaten there
Basil Minced Pork w/ Rice ($7 +$1 for egg) - delicious but pretty spicy
Prawn Phad Thai ($7) - decent
Thai Suki Soup ($7) - was weirdly sweet, don't see this as a soup, but more of a gravy for the noodles
Baby Kailan Roast Pork ($12) - delicious but portion was pretty small
Visited their new outlet at Kitchener Road, just a stone's throw away from City Square Mall. Smaller space, but service was not too slow and we were served out food pretty quick.
Pork Leg Rice ($7) - tender and fatty slices of pork leg sat atop rice drenched with the braising sauce. Flavourful on its own but pairs perfectly with the chilli. Skin still has some rough hair on it.
Crabmeat Fried Rice ($7) - Unanimous favourite. Not your usual wokhey zichar fried rice, but it was so flavourful with the shredded crab meat. Unforgettable.
Sambal Kailan ($12) - Pretty expensive for this portion size but nonetheless this was delicious, albeit slightly too spicy for our liking.
Clear Tom Yum ($12) - Chock full of seafood, this packed a punch so beware. Perfect for cold rainy nights.
Moo Ping or Thai-style grilled pork skewers) is one of our favourite Thai dishes.
Pork collar is marinated in a savoury sweet marinade comprising of Thai fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, palm sugar, garlic and coriander. It is then grilled over charcoal to create a sticky surface glaze and lightly char it.
BeerThai makes their moo Ping from a single piece of meat. This locks in and retains the savoury juices within the pork during the grilling process. At $3 per stick, you might think find it expensive compared to satay but you definitely change your mind after sinking your teeth into the thick, juicy and tender moo ping!
I love a good stuffed chicken wing but only if they do not contain garden peas 🤣🤣🤣 I am therefore glad to report that BeerThai's rendition does not and the marinated meat stuffing is juicy, savoury and aromatic. Needless to say, the skin is lightly battered and crisp!
BeerThai at Golden Mile Complex is one of our favourite Thai haunts. It occupies a corner on the ground floor of the building but is always packed full of diners. It is so difficult to decide what to order at BeerThai as they serve a huge variety of dishes on their menu.
We love that their green curry chicken is sweet, thick and creamy, and full of chicken chunks, aubergine and french beans. It is also tummy friendly as they have toned down the spicy level for this dish. It's great on its own and even better with rice! More importantly, it is really affordable!
This time I ordered their BBQ Sotong, Pork Tom saap and Grill Pork Neck
I like their bbq Sotong ($15), the sotong was not rubbery,tender with outer light crisp from grill, served with garlic chilli on the side.
Meanwhile the Pork Tom Saap ($15), sour and refreshing soup with pork ribs.
Can skip the Grill Pork Neck, dry and a bit tough.

Interesting combination. There was shao rou with coconut rice with peanut sauce & chicken rice sauce.
generous with ingredients, the broth was flavourful, the meat quite tender and not gamey.
I Added crispy pork skin 😋, very shiok
FYI, they have 2 outlet, the one that sell beef noodle is Beer Thai House1, not Beer Thai House2.

Wasn’t intending to eat but couldn’t resist just ordering a bowl of tom yum soup since we were already here at Golden Mile 😂 Love clear ones so that’s what we got. Was an average one, the spicy kick was definitely there, but was too salty to have on its own. Felt the saltiness also overwhelmed the other spices and flavours. It came with fishballs, fish, squid, mushrooms and prawns.
The fish was fresh,served in spicy sour sauce made from lime juice, chilli and a lot of garlic.
💰$35.
