Play Kitchen offers restaurant quality pastas at prices no more than $10. Helmed by MediaCorp artiste Ben Yeo, it features pastas brimming with Singaporean flavour, whipping up local delights like Sambal Belachan Grilled Fish with Aglio Olio, and Suckling Chicken with Aglio Olio. I personally recommend the Laksa Prawn Spaghetti as pictured. Featuring a rich broth laced with coconut and flavourful spices, it reminds one of the quintessential laksa enjoyed at Hawker centres, without compromising the western flair of pasta, effectively merging Western and Asian cultures into one.
Taste of the pasta was so-so only but what attracted me the most was actually the sambal. But overall not bad for a food court!
