Chai Bar is my favourite salad bar of ALL time! Aside from their seasonal and preset salads, they also allow you to customise salads with a super fun and varied selection of greens, toppings, dressings and proteins — think tamago furikake and coffee sriracha mayo. I had a mixed lettuce base with roasted sweet potatoes, croutons, onions, cucumber, chickpeas, grilled chicken, strawberry balsamic vinegrette and tomato salsa (RM20.50) — yum! Greens were as fresh as they could be and the dressing goes really well with the juicy grilled chicken. I also recommend a delicious Avococo Smoothie (RM12.50), which combines avocado, cocoa powder and coconut milk, to complete the meal.

Chai bar is probably my personal favorite salad bar of ALL time!! Aside their seasonal and pre set salads, they also offer custom salads with a super wide range of greens, sides, dressing and protein to choose from!! I decided to switch it up a bit and instead of my usual baby spinach base, I had a regular lettuce base with roasted sweet potato, croutons, onions, cucumber, chickpeas, grilled chicken, strawberry balsamic vinegrette and tomato salsa (RM20.90), and yet again chai bar hasn't failed to impress me. Greens and as fresh as they can get and the dressing goes super well with the chicken. I also my favorite Avo-coco smoothie, which is avocado, cocoa powder and coconut milk, to complete my meal 😁

A minimalist place serving up an interesting concept in salad enjoyment.. Well their menu is pretty extensive in salad combination that ranges from purely vegetables to meat and the exciting part is that you get to have a go with your own salad creation.. After much consideration from the wide array of salad suggestions, I chose their superfood salad which has a generous portion considering the price of rm17.50.. It mainly comprises of the famous superfood ingredients according to the USA superfood guidelines which are beets, quinoa, sweet potato, avocado, spinach, sunflower seed and some lettuce which is dressed with peanut sauce!! It's truly a colorful and healthy bowl of salad but it was just nice for me not entirely enjoyable (maybe because I just love my meat too much!!) nevertheless I managed to finish it but i felt their avocado wasn't ripe enough like how soft and creamy texture they usually are.. Maybe I will give it another go but with meat as the focus

As Chai Bar's latest Jalan Telawi 3 outlet in Bangsar would prove, salads are more than just boring bowls of leaves. Choices are extensive, so be prepared to make some difficult decisions while assembling your own salad, or keep it simple and pick one from their All-Time Favourites shortlist. The Porntip (RM19) is a Thai-inspired creation with a mixed lettuce and glass noodles base, topped with onions, young papaya, cherry tomatoes, haricots verts and prawns, drizzled in Thai som tam dressing, or go Japanese with California Girls (RM21.50). This features a mixed lettuce and red rice base, mixed with typical Japanese flavours including pickled seaweed, crab stick, ebiko and a creamy wasabi dressing. Prices range from RM13.90 to RM22.90.
