I tried the dry la mian again to be sure, and yes it's indeed good. Pork chops are very risky but this was decent.
Cheap with the set meal. Gao too.
I've been craving their beef dumplings because they're so rare in Singapore. Unfortunately they tasted pretty much like pork dumplings. The soup is beef soup so it's delicious.
The fact we're back so soon is testament to the food. My first time with their dry noodle and it's delicious, both the seasoning and the la mian quality. But not enough. The ribs were average. Some were tender but some weren't.
We were initially worried this is the Chef Wai from foodcourts, but overall standards were admirable. The soup had a strong prawn roe flavour - perhaps too strong. Although the fish probably wasn't the freshest, it's tasty.
