Went to eat Chilli Pan Mee at China St near Telok Ayer for lunch recently๐Ÿ˜‡ Ordered the original chilli banmian ($8.50) and it has been my favourite dried banmian ever since๐Ÿ˜ The shallots, minced meat were flavourful and ikan billis was so crispy! Free soup on the side to cleanse ur palate as well so really no complaints! Overall ratings definitely a 10/10 for me๐Ÿฅฐ Visited twice so far in one month and more visits to come!

With 10 Restoran in Malaysia, do you know that Restoran Super Kitchen Chili Pan Mee has an outlet in Singapore? First time here? You should order their Signature Dry Pan Mee (flat flour noodles) served with minced pork, anchovies, fried onions topped with poached egg. The chilli is the key ingredient, so shiok.

Location: Chilli Pan Mee (Batu Road), 22 China Street, #01-01, Far East Square, Singapore 049564

Right: dry chilli pan mee @ $7.80
Top left: daipu dry noodles @ $7.80
Bottom left: thai style beancurd @ $4.80
Prices are nett

The food was okay, the noodles are done al dente and we liked it this way. But it's quite dry and I had to put some of the soup (which comes free) into the bowl to make it more appetising.

Of course the real star is the chilli which we had quite a bit of it. Elevated the taste to a whole new level.

Otherwise the food is quite normal. Can go to the food centres for similar food for lower price.

If youโ€™re in the area of CBD, you must not missed this storeโ€™s house specialty noodle (free flow chilli on a side) I mean if youโ€™re fan of all things noodles, this placeโ€™s definitely worth trying for (many variation of noodle) and look at that generous amount of toppings from pork lard, shallots, ikan bilis & mix them up tgt!! ๐Ÿคฉ

whatโ€™s not to love is that every bowl of noodles are affordably ranged at $7.80!!!!

Where are my spice lovers? Made a return visit to Chilli Pan Mee (Batu Rd) last week to satisfy my cravings ๐Ÿ”ฅ

A short walk from the train station, we found ourselves slurping up bowls of springy noodles here! The food is served fast, with instructions on the wall for how to best eat their noodles. This bowl of ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ($๐Ÿณ.๐Ÿด๐Ÿฌ) comes with pork lard, minced pork, anchovies, fried garlic toppings and a runny egg. Stir in the egg and mix well with the noodles for the best experience! Also had their ๐——๐—ฎ๐—ถ ๐—ฃ๐˜‚ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ($๐Ÿณ.๐Ÿด๐Ÿฌ) which is not bad too๐Ÿณ

Tried their dumpling soup previously but didn't order that this time round (iykyk). The staff were also friendly and service was quick! No wonder we saw a full house situation at 8pm on a weekday.

First tried this a year back and I've surely learnt my lesson...the hard way ๐Ÿคญ

This time, I only added in 3/4 spatula of chilli. I can taste the spice without it being too overwhelming. Skipped the egg add on (+$1), which in hindsight was quite a mistake. Would highly recommend mixing in the egg for a creamy texture ๐Ÿ‘

Do use the chilli sparingly, unless you're in for a spice challenge!
