Had the hazelnut and coconut lattes. Both were extremely sweet for an 8oz drink. Also had a small piece of chocolate which was completely unnecessary add of sugar.
Hadn't been to this particular branch before. Flat White here is creamy and smooth with a smoky flavour profile.
*self note: that Yam Cake in the fridge sounds interesting to return for ๐
The spicy kimchi helped cut through all the greasiness of the bacon while the tangy Sriracha sauce tied up the loose ends.

The joys of finding new stuff at a beloved cafe! Yums.

Thanks @craftsmenspecialtycoffee for letting mess around for SO LONG to get one photo hahaha! Loving the iced espresso latte ($7) and the salted gula melaka waffles ($15.90)! I know this is weird, but this ice cream waffles combo makes a great brekkie. See, the waffles is sprinkled with a heaping amount of sunflower seeds and almonds that add texture to the dish. So it feels like a great brekkie granola dish on "toast". Plus cause the weather is so warm, the ice cream melts quickly which makes it a great creamy topping for the warm waffle. The berries are fresh and tart, a gentle balance to the overall sweetness. Ok I'm stuffed. #waffles #gulamelaka

Chanced upon Craftsmen Specialty Coffee & decided to try them out without reading reviews. Warning: Pricing for food & drinks are high compared to reputable cafes. Nevertheless, we gave them a chance & tried them out. I had Thick Toast with Salmon & Poached eggs (S$15.90) & an Iced Cafe Mocha (S$7). Hubby B had a Shaved Ham Croissant Sandwich & Mango Mexican soda (because their Iced tea is ridiculously pricey!). My toast was not warm & crisp, however the poached egg was done nicely. The Iced mocha was a disappointment for the price they are asking for. For the Shaved Ham Croissant, it was cold & nothing to shout about. The mango Mexican soda was something new & worth trying out. Overall if based on 5 stars, I would only give it a 1 star. They most probably are still around due to lack of coffee places in the neighborhood & their lacklustre service is not a place I will visit again unless I have no choice.
My friendly Neighbourhood Cafe at Eastwood Centre! Great service, great coffee and love their waffles!!! My fav - Churros with Ice Cream =)
For a hearty 'brunchfast', Craftsmen's 3 Tier Brioche will leave you feeling very satisfied. Shaved ham, cheddar and mozarella cheese dripping off the edges of the bread, and your choice of poached/scrambled eggs. The poached eggs I got were nicely runny and covered in the house special sauce made from piquant chipotle peppers. Tasty, but perhaps could have been improved with the harshness of the peppers dialled down a notch. The sides of plain avocado and salad were perfunctory and provided freshness but did little else for me. On the other hand, their Flat White ($5 small) was smooth and robust.
Taste: 3/5
Can't help taking a bite before the picture.... just look at the emerald green ondeh cake makes my mind run wild...
3 tier brioche ($15.90 including gst) flavourful Brunch for eastie. Choice of scrambled egg and poached egg. Hollandaise sauce is a little different from usual. There's a special hint of curry flavour which makes its all special. The brunch is quite filling. Worth a try if you love eggs and avocado. ๐
Salmon and poached eggs with curry mayo on guacamole and thick toast ($15.90 only 7% GST)
Or afternoon?

For the love of ice cream waffle with a scoop of Salted Caramel Ice Cream ($10.90) & Hot Chocolate ($6). This cafe is located at the corner of the row of shops, so it can go unnoticed! Nevertheless, it was still pretty packed. The salted caramel was really tasty, I could taste the saltiness combined with the sweet caramel flavour. Both of them always go so well together! The buttermilk waffles were a little too crispy but the flavour was still there ๐๐ผ Hot Chocolate tastes great as always, and there were cute marshmallows at the side! Would want to come back to try the other food they serve!
Grilled ham and cheese, with scrambled eggs and avocado. Love this place for the generous servings.
But what make this dish from Craftsmen Specialty Coffee is the spicy chipotle mayo! ๐
Topped with a knob of salted butter, drizzle of maple syrup, and sprinkling of icing sugar, this Timeless Waffles ($9) is an absolute classic. Craftsmen nailed the crispy-fluffy texture, and this is easily one of the best waffles imho. Love that the simple toppings allowed the great waffle to shine.
