Their wantons are a little smaller than usual but the flavor is not compromised. Not too spicy too.

More like mediocre dumplings soaked in poor blend and heart-choking oil.

Both were actually better than expected, though I wish the stuffing for the dumplings had a bit more oomph. And it’s Halal, so it’s a nice place for large gatherings too.

We like the beef brisket noodles which had very good flavours and their handmade dumplings which is always a plus point. If you find their dishes a bit too heavy, go for something lighter like their Chili Oil Noodles!

For the usual price of $8.65 for 12 dumplings, the set was a steal for a bowl of 12 dumplings, a side (cold mixed cucumber/Konjac) and drink. You can choose the filling of the dumplings (beef cabbage, chives with prawn and egg, black pepper beef etc). The skin of dumpling had a bite to it without being too thick. Oh, I just loved how soft the egg and chives were with the crunchy prawn as the filling. The sour spicy soup broth just tasted like mala soup with an addictive kick to it. The side of cold mixed Konjac was pretty refreshing with the mala spices. As for the noodles, it tasted alright but it was a little frustrating at the beginning when the al dente noodles was all clumped together, making it hard to toss well with the chilli oil and scallions. Overall, it felt like comfort food meant for rainy days:)

But actually they gave me 8 pieces! This is what I'm craving for the whole weekend. The filling is minced beef. I felt the skin was a bit thicker than I expected but gave it additional chewy feeling which is not bad either. I'll come back for other dishes!
