Spaghetti Aglio Olio (add Large Prawns)

$14.00 ยท 6 Reviews

No crowd during dinner time. Garlic bread was crispy on the outside & soft on the inside! Yums! Aglio Olio did not disappoint. You can choose between spicy & nonspicy. Definately spicy for me!

Pasta could be more al dente (and my colleagues had a bowl of VERY oily aglio olio) but still one of my go-tos for decent pasta in the cbd. #burpple

Always order the aglio olio with prawns. The price they charged at this branch is slightly more than their IP branch. But standard maintains and there are more seatings here.

Wicked Wednesday, a better lunch to survive the week. You can choose from Set Lunch ($14) that comes with a main, soup and a soft drink. Different mains and soup are served from Monday to Friday!! Today was simply aglio olio spaghetti tossed with ham and mushroom served with a comforting bowl of tomato soup. If it's not what you like, browse the menu and choose from the range of pizza and pasta available like Carbonara ($10).

Usual Aglio olio tossed with garlic, chilli, anchovies, parsley and extra virgin oil. Added these giant grilled prawns for $7 so it came up to $14 nett. Loved the little char taste! Pretty decent at its price point but I'd prefer if the prawns were slightly crunchier, and pasta more al dante. Will come back to try their $14 set lunches.

This magical combination needs no introduction. While your lips end up getting glazed with the garlic and chilli padi-infused oil (just like the strands of spaghetti), you'll throw any notion of self-restraint out of the window cos this tastes so bloody good.

You'd probably want all five succulent flame-torched prawns all for yourself, but if you find the 1:1 pasta to prawn ratio too indulgent or if you die die want to save some moolah but still need to get your crustacean fix, then go halfsies with your favourite lunch buddy and have 2 1/2 prawns each. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
