PS. Truffle Shoestring Fries

$15.00 · 60 Reviews

A refuge for social gathering, PS.Cafe probably doesn't need a introduction! But did you know that the charming cafe started their operations within a clothing shop? The homegrown brand has since expanded operations into multiple outlets islandwide and also diversified into contemporary Japanese cuisine at Jypsy and Chinese fusion food at Chop Suey Cafe.

We tried the Chicken Parmigiano ($29) along with a few other mains, sides and desserts. Definitely try the truffle fries and indulgent desserts too!✨

Have you really been to PS.Cafe if you didn't order this? 🤔

Perhaps one of the most well-loved sides at this restaurant, this came in a giant serving portion. Learnt after my visit that you can actually request for half portion at a lower price. Good alternative to consider for small eaters/those dining in smaller groups.

Still a huge serving, but I was kinda disappointed. It wasn't that enjoyable.

Am I only the one who found PS cafe’s truffle fries rly underwhelming? It was on my bucket list for the longest time and I had a lot of expectations - only to feel disappointed after trying it. The fries were served cold and bland. I was quite sure I have tried way better truffle fries at other random cafes out there sigh

This was sometime ago when PS introduced a new Brunch menu offering. Items:

Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup
Mini Pancakes
Truffle Fries

Meal time at PS. Cafe is always such a joyous affair, we’ve been to quite a number of their outlets at different location and every location is so stunning, welcoming and photogenic in their own ways😌📸Our usual go-tos are their spicy king prawn aglio olio and PS. club sandwich. The aglio olio might be a tad too oily especially towards the end but it’s infused with that super strong prawn taste - absolutely love it!!💕 They also serve up some real good desserts like their sticky date/ ginger pudding☺️ Strongly recommended to make reservations before heading down to any of their outlets!!

Probably the best truffle fries around! 🥰

Prolly the best pasta I’ve had altho it’s a little oily. King prawns were rly plump 🤪 !!

Bubz got the PS burger and topped up for truffle fries instead of normal shoestring fries ($5++). Didn’t feel that the truffle fries were that great tho!! Expected a little more since it’s so raved about but I guess the dipping sauce (tomyum mayo ??) tasted really unique.

Both mains were $29.5++

Really lovely ambience for celebrations

Never understood why they took this sinfully mouthwatering salad off the menu at PS.Cafe. Other than the signature truffle fries, this is one dish i would order again and again at PS.Cafe if they hadn’t taken it off the menu. So this is kind of a tribute to an ingenious salad with an Asian twist. I was completely taken with the fragrant peanut sauce, crispy tofu noodles and cashew nut crunch atop a healthy mix of red cabbage, potatoes, sugar snap peas, avocado, bean sprouts and quail eggs. I say bring back this Gado Gado Salad already, PS.Cafe!

A big bowl of happiness. :D
Personally feel that P.S Cafe makes one of the truffle fries out there. ($15++)
Consistent in quality and I love how they spam the truffle and cheese.
