The swoon-worthy aroma of butter and sugar are the first things that will hit you upon entering this shop. What follows next is the stunning array of cakes, cookies and tarts – give in to temptation and order a few. From the creamy Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (RM14.50) to the gooey Salty Valrhona Brownie (RM12) and the fluffy Earl Grey Chiffon Cake (RM7.90), you’re bound to make several trips back to sample all of their yummy offerings. P.s You can also get Dew’s ultra buttery Sourdough Croissants (RM7.50) here.

I’ve always want to try cakes here and I’ve tried the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake as well as the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. Tbh, the experience of the two cakes i’ve tried was not amazing but it was worth trying at least. However don’t fret to try as they have a variety of other cakes and cookies as well. So, do go ahead & have a taste! 🍪

ordered peppermint tea and hot latte to pair up with vanilla bean cheesecake and also banana yogurt loaf, so far it has the best cheesecake in town ❤️ would definitely be back for it!

Tbh I'm not a cake person but this cafe always make me craving for cakes. Cakes in frame: (from above to below) Peanut Butter Chocolate (RM14.90), Banana Yogurt Cake (RM8.90) and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (RM14.50). My favourite is Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, tho some of the people didn't feel it is special but I love the mixture of the taste between cheesecake and the vanilla bean (base of the cake) which is just nicely done. Second one would be Banana Yogurt. Was not expecting this to be so tasty when my friend told that it is their favourite and the thing is, you would never judge a book by its cover. It looks so simple yet the banana flavour is strong enough compare with those ordinary banana cake. Lastly, their Peanut Butter Chocolate is nice too. I'm not really a fans of peanut butter chocolate but this one, sweetness just on point. A piece of advice from me, make sure you pay them a visit earlier before office break cause there are full of office people that eat cakes during their break instead of hot food.

A passion for sweet bakes landed Jaslyn Rangson and her cake shop in Jalan Telawi 2 two years ago, and the hole-in-the-wall bakery has flourished since. The black-and-white honeycomb tiles welcome you to an array of freshly baked goods sitting at the counter, and you can count on the quaint china cups and saucers to cheer you up. Come after a light lunch, because desserts here are a dining experience of their own. The dark Salty Valrhona Brownie (RM10.90) and Butterscotch Blondie (RM10.90) come in contrasting colours and you should order both. The brownie wins points for its gooey centre and sea salt-topped crust, whereas the blondie delights with a buttery bite. However, what lures most into the store is a classic bake, the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (RM14.50) — light and fluffy, it hits all the right notes that a good cheesecake should. Enjoy Jaslyn's bakes guilt-free, as all are made only with wholesome ingredients like kampung eggs, organic flour and rye grain.

Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Choco Cake and Lemon Bar that stands out the most.

Came here for the cheesecake, but alas, we were a little late and most cakes were sold out. So we tried their bread & butter pudding and lemon tart which both tasted amazing. The bread and butter pudding was so soft, it almost tasted like custard in texture. The pastry of the lemon tart was very fragrant of butter, and just the right balance of tanginess and sweetness. Will definitely be back to try their cakes next time!

Definitely one of the best dessert shops that I've been too. Thank god for opening at Bangsar as its so near to me and I can always come here if I need a pick me up.

Love the cheesecake!! Apart from komugi's amazing half baked cheesecake, Jaslyn's cheesecake is a winner! It's so fluffy and not too sweet. Really good cheesy taste too. I assure you it's not overwhelming.
Lemon tart, a cleanse from all the sweetness. Nice curd and crust. I like how it wasn't too sour, like the overrated one in Tommy Le Baker (No offence intended, just my personal taste preference)
Butterscotch blondie! Takes a lot of hard work to eat small bites from it because it's just so fudgy and dense. It's just amazing! Not too sweet, another favourite! (Also tastemaker @emilychoong_ 's favourite)
Peanut butter chocolate cake. Oh my goodness. Another great cake. I remember trying one from another cafe and I couldn't taste any peanut butter on its icing at all. The chocolate cake was also too strong there. Here on the other hand, has GREAT peanut butter icing, chocolate sponge cake was light and was pure indulgence. Another favourite.

I'm starting to feel like everything will be my favourite in the bakery.... Hahah anyways, must try Bakeshop in Bangsar. Put it on your to-go lists today and GO!
Lastly, I love the teacups. So pretty. Evidently from Royal Albert Hall. Check at the bottom of the teacup! 😱 Earl Grey tea matches well with all the desserts that we had. How British we felt that day! 😊 *pinky up!* Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (Earl Grey Tea RM 10 for a pot; Cheesecake RM 14.50; lemon tart RM 13.90 - don't really agree with this price for such a small tart; blondie RM 9.90; Peanut butter chocolate cake RM 13.90 - other prices are fine, indulge once in a while, but not everyday. Because one, it's not healthy, two, they are quite pricey)
