The beef cheek rendang is so flavourful and succulent! Blue pea flower infused rice is fragrant. Comes with some keropok and tangy seasoned cucumber. What a refreshing dish! Will come back for more ๐Ÿคค

Fluffy toast topped with scumblicious scrambled eggs and prosciutto, sprinkled with light dose of truffle oil. Good way to start the day!

3.75โญ I wanted to try out this cafe for very long but always didn't purposely make my way there to eat. I had shakshouka while my frenz had duck cassoulet and both looks actually almost the same. I had shakshouka once in Europe and I have forgotten the taste. ๐Ÿ˜‚ This dish is not bad though and I plan to return to try their other dishes. My frenz thought her duck cassoulet is similar to duck confit but it wasn't the case.

๐–๐š๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐›๐ž๐ž๐Ÿ ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐๐š๐ง๐  ($22; 4 โญ๏ธ) - overall, a flavourful and enjoyable dish with mostly tender wagyu meat (some parts were tougher than others). While we appreciated the crispy fried shallots and fresh greens, did find that the homemade rempah lacked complexity and could do with a punchier spice kick. Perhaps the pairing of a sambal or addition of more chilli, as well as some citrus-sourness (not just from the tangy and sharp pickles) would have enhanced the dish? The beef rendang was served alongside aromatic butterfly pea coconut rice, a fried egg, pickled carrots and cucumber, and crunchy prawn crackers.

๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ž๐ ๐  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐จ ($22; 3.5 โญ๏ธ) - the truffle was distinct but not overpowering nor cloying. While too salty to be eaten on its own, the thinly sliced prosciutto went well with the soft and creamy scrambled eggs and thick brioche. The brioche was airy and crispy throughout and consequential a little dry; we would have appreciated if it were softer and slightly more buttery.

Taste of truffle is more of a light touch, not for those who are looking for heavy truffle flavour. Dish is best enjoyed with The Breakfast Works. Beyond the tinge of truffle taste, the egg in Truffle Egg Prosciutto definitely has slight difference from the egg in The Breakfast Works.
