We haven’t got a good zichar dinner 🥺 in such a long time that having a scrumptious meal at 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 really satisfied our cravings! 🙈
Our dinner spread included their 𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙚 (家乡炒饭) 🍚🍳 which carried some serious wokhey! We especially liked the crispy ikan bilis 🐟 that added that crunchy texture to each spoon of egg fried rice.
Their signature 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙥𝙤𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 (金蒜鸡) 🍲🍗 was also very juicy and savoury too! The fried garlic was very crispy and added both flavour and crunch to the dish 😋
Every meal should come with a serving of vegetables and their 𝗫𝗢 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗿-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻 (𝗫𝗢 虾球炒芥蓝) 🦐🥬 hit the spot. It was intriguing 😲 that their kai lan had more stems (which was crunchy) than usual, and how their prawn balls were actually curled-up prawns 🍤 (which were de-veined)!
Their 𝙃𝙤𝙩𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙 (铁板三鲜) 🥘🐟🦑 was also impressive. The fish, sotong, and prawns were fresh and cooked in a delicious spicy sweet and sour sauce. Their sotong was so tender, it was devoured 😅 in minutes!
