Perfect blend of savoury and sweet thus not that gelat.
Taste wise was ok. Comes with free flow ice cream.
Total spend: $41.43

4/5 🌟 (all was okay, except the scones were pretty dry)

Some of the highlights from the festive afternoon tea set at @InterconSin. Good mix and balance of sweet and savoury items, along with obligatory scones and tea.

Checking out the Classic Afternoon Tea: Revelry, inspired from winter in Northern Europe. We enjoyed the eclair with foie gras, Turkey carbonara vol-au-vent, mushroom truffle quiche, salted caramel macaron and the Christmas fruit cake.

This festive set is available at The Lobby Lounge from now till 31 Jan 2020, priced at $88++ for two! There’s also the option of two flutes of Taittinger Brut Champagne ($118++ for two).

Wedding favours from Intercontinental! Pretty looking little macarons which my gramps called “coloured hamburgers” LOL. Nicely packed in a Tiffany blue box, the presentation certainly scored some points! Taste wise, they were slightly above average. You can taste the almond-y fragrance from the macaron shells and aromatic fragrance from the fillings. Chocolate, orange, vanilla

But since I can’t, I’ll settle for the daily afternoon tea @interconsin where Chef Ben’s award winning desserts are plentiful on his multi-tiered set. His sweets are always nuanced so even though this chocolate sweetheart looks formidable, each bite was light and well balanced. The savories are great too. More on www.ms-skinnyfat.com link in bio.
