saw this was recommended on tiktok and headed down to try. ordered 2 different naans, the butter one and the cheese one. cheese one was quite pricey ($5+?) but can taste the saltiness of the cheese. the butter one didn’t really have too much impact but paired well with the butter chicken. the mutton in the biryani was too little for the $10+ price tag

Their rendition is relatively lighter than before, the luscious sheen of caramelised syrup gleaming in the light.
.
Has firm crisp brittle texture that shatters in parts when bit, carrying lovely floral earthy sweet spice flavour.
.
A sweet note that pairs well to end a meal.

Their rendition features medium sized deboned fillets of mackerel fish, coated with mild spices and yoghurt, then roasted in a tandoor oven.
.
Has a soft flaky moist texture, with pleasant smoky meaty sweet savoury spice flavour.
.
Accompanied with a bit of lime juice for a tangy zesty sour touch. Usually paired with bread or rice.

Their version of dhal tadka is thinner than elsewhere, more like a typical curry instead of a stew. I also like that they offer small portions for individuals.
.
It holds good earthy savoury salty spice flavours, nicely satisfying. Wished for a tad more chili heat though.

By far the most affordable version, their rendition has a thick spicy savoury salty curry gravy.
.
The boneless chicken chunks are cubed to bite sized, tender with a mild chew and natural sweet savoury flavour, picking up the notes from the curry gravy.
.
Best paired with rice or bread.

What I appreciate is their option for a half-portion, making this possibly the most wallet-friendly rendition of this dish.
.
While I'm not a fan of the way they slice it up into bite-sized chunks (I prefer to see the fist-sized piece), the chicken is tender and nice with a light chew, bordering dry and moist.
.
Decent smoky meaty sweet savoury spice flavour. Served with a lime wedge, which can potentially overwhelm the delicate chicken if you squeeze too much.

Their rendition features a medium thick curry gravy, with a distinct savoury spice milky flavour, light on the sweet notes.
.
Thankful for their choice of single or double portions, the former great as an appetizer, the latter well placed as a main.
.
The tender boneless chicken chunks carry a savoury spice sweet flavour from the marinade, and the prior tandoor roasting lends a smoky aroma.

A stalwart casual dining eatery serving quality Northern Indian dishes since 1995.
.
The curry paste holds well to the tender soft cauliflower and potatoes, having a light vegetal earthy sweet spice flavour. Easy to eat for all ages.

I had always seen such a thing at Indian eateries. Now I know what it is. It's minced as a stick and grilled. Not worth the price.

Aka spinach curry. Quite straightforward but we order this often everywhere.

Our first time trying this as it looks so interesting. The yogurt made it quite savoury but the grated coconut-like ball was like a dessert. It's a strong and acquired taste.

Different from most. It's thinner, more buttery and used lousier meat.

Price $20/PPax

I had butter chicken and Purina parantha. Place is nicely made but self serve only.

Price is very high for the portion. It costed me $16 and I just ordered 1 dish, which was a very small size.

Didn’t have more money for sweet dish. Will only come back to bring special guests. Won’t be back here again.

Got someone to takeaway for me garlic naan and butter chicken before. Both were quite tasty but the chicken was quite salty to me and had a very chicken taste. I went there because of a recommendation from an Indian lady for the best aloo pratha. The interior of the place was very strange. Since I am here to review the food, I would say there was absolutely no service at all yet they had the audacity to charge high prices. We ordered chicken curry(we wanted just the curry but the Indian guy gave us a dirty look and scooped the chicken in as well.), 4 miserable pieces of taandori chicken, one cheese naan and some long beans and a cup of tea(which never came and we had to ask them). The chicken curry was horrible. Where were the spices? Tandoori was heavily salted only the mint was good. Long beans were average. Naan was a major disappointment. They used processed cheese. That's a honest disrespect to food and their customer! I have eaten at places which serves naan with mozerella cheese. The portions were miserable, around the size of my palm. I could have easily gotten much more tastier indian food elsewhere with bigger portions. The plate of white rice cost $1.30 all in all we spent around $32(just the 2 of us). How is that possible I still do not understand. Saw reviews online that Jaggis serve affordable food. Well I am definitely too poor for their food!

Joy to the World!! I finally found the best parantha place in Singapore!
.
.
Parantha is a North Indian term for crispy flaky whole-wheat flatbread generously cooked in oil/ ghee. Singapore is full of places serving prata which is not the same thing. This parantha can be made plain with simple spices or can be stuffed. For a north-Indian who has been looking for aloo parantha ~ stuffed with spiced potatoes ~ for the last 8 months - I AM IN HEAVEN!

Naturally, I did not wait to take a picture and dived in straight. But this goes so so well with hot masala tea.. There will be a next time very very soon and that's when I'll take that lovely picture (unless I can't resist yet again) #burpple #burpplesg #jaggis #littleindia #singapore

Been awhile since I've been here, and the North Indian food is still as tasty, and affordable.

Hand tossed, herb stuffed pudina paratha that is crisp. Savoury minced mutton kheema with green peas in a mild curry. Soft string beans and paneer cheese that is light, not too greasy.
