I actually visited the same restaurant twice in one trip. That says a lot. Honestly you need to request for goose thigh if you want to have a positive experience. The two visits gave me contrasting opinions about this 1 star Michelin establishment. One goose was tender and addictive. The other hard, bony and frustrating to eat. Not sure, if I'll do a round 3.

.
Regretted ordering only 1/4, should have go for 1/2 and skip their suckling pig.

Tried their goose [270 HKD] and was mind blown at how good it was. Crispy skin and such tender meat. Personally preferred it to Yung kee and yat Lok. It went perfect with the steaming hot rice. Now I'm quite excited to return to Singapore and see how the duck and the goose compares to each other.

The prized possession from Kam's for generations & onboard to Singapore this month, I'm so glad to be able to try it first hand fresh over here. Totally worth the 30 minutes wait at the Wan Chai district! Even got lucky because they somehow served me the goose leg at no additional charge (U.P. HKD97)? & Yes, checked off yet another Michelin off my food list! What a time to be alive.

As you can see the char siew & roasted goose is alr half eaten by the time our noodles came. The goose was so good! Crisp skin and juicy, tasty meat. The noodles is a must order as well. Cooked in goose fat, it has all the flavour you need and just enough bite! Char siew was on the sweet side and the meat is not as flavourful. But the goose is definitely the star. Great service by HK standards and just half the price of Yung Kee!! #Burpple #hongkong #kamsroastgoose #roastgoose

One hour's wait later, we finally got our seat! We had to wait a while for our goose but that meant it was freshly made. Very succulent and rich, and not at all greasy. The gravy was amazing over white rice, but the skin was not as crispy as I would have liked. Buttttttt it's almost S$100 for a whole roast goose - definitely on the steep side. They do sell roast goose rice, but they "run out" of that towards the end of the day, so at dinner time, expect to buy at least half a roast goose.
