🎉 (the fish was really good especially the deep fried ginger yummmy!!) Been having good food these days, eating non-stop (Jiak Jiak Jiak) 😅 Still in the CNY mood though, I'm not ready for school anytime sooooon 😂

Everything is just perfect with this rendition – I tried it twice to confirm this, once on Friday and another this morning. The rice may look mushy from this angle but each grain remains whole, with bite, and reeks of the beautiful, almost herbaceous fragrance of the leaf. You get generous chunks of five spice + soy sauce-braised tender chicken and meaty shiitake. The sole chestnut in the mix is so soft, creamy and almost melts in the mouth, but the highlight is that golden globe of salted egg yolk which adds a lovely savoury note with every mouthful. What makes this dish even more glorious is that it is made at the stall daily. Ok, that's all.

Because wantan mee alone is not enough, so you order a large bowl of fishball soup to complete it. Ok, that's all.

Perhaps the best I've had in Singapore. It's a small setup running by a family just beside the kopi tiam. Best!!!

I wasn’t very excited for ckt brunch today at first . But don’t mind giving it a try since my mum bought it home anyway. After my first bites , pork lards checked ✔️, lup cheong checked ✔️, moisture checked ✔️, chilli checked checked ✔️✔️. It’s amount of oil is not too much but tgt with dark soy sauce , it’s absolutely suffice to lubricate every strand of noodles . I also like it when the amount of kway teow is much more than the noodles . Yeay , it’s indeed not disappointing at all ! 😀
