Saw these old couple selling Lor Mee and I decided to give it a try. Wowww… Very nice & delicious Shredded Chicken Lor Mee. Try it yourself. The dried shredded chicken egg noodles looks good as well! #supportlocalhawker #singaporefoodπŸ˜œπŸ‘

Throwback post - Take another shot to show the portion of egg in the congee.

Uncle too generous liao πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… . I cannot finish salted egg white since there is not much congee left.

Throwback post - Craving for porridge and that bring me to this stall. Not sure if it has changed hands but kinda remember it having a different signboard and was helmed by an aunt.

Nevertheless, I ordered Duo Egg Congee. Subtle flavor, not to the extent of being bland. Like the chunky you tiao being added as well along with the shallots and spring onion further elevate it.

Unassuming yet enjoyed every mouthful of it 😍😍😍

Anthony Indonesian cuisine sells an affordable and satisfying plate of nasi padang here at kovan 209.

The have many varieties of chicken leg, from curry to green chilli to Ayam merah to rendang.

Today decided to have the Rendang and they are very generous with the sauce as u can see.

Despite passing by Chinatown Beef King multiple times, I've never once tried it. I finally decided to give it a go.

The 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 π—‘π—Όπ—Όπ—±π—Ήπ—²π˜€ ($7 for Medium) came with abundant slices of tender beef, while the thick bee hoon was smooth and slippery. Unlike other beef noodle stalls, the gravy here was peppery. It's definitely something new, but personally I prefer the traditional taste.

Anyway there's a wildly popular beef noodle stall in a kopi tiam less than five minutes' walk away. That is still one of my favourites in Singapore.
