Quirky French halal cafe. Food is ok but quiet ambience with a nice view of the shop houses

Nutty professor $6.50 and wild berry $6. You can get a sugar rush from both but we kinda needed it. Haha. Do not have these after dinner. You might stay awake. You have been warned. 🤣 #tingzieeats #burpple

Thanks to this I was completely wide awake at 3am! I had this at 830pm 😂

It is such a good combination though it takes a while for the Nutella to simmer down and blend well with the milk and espresso.

Definitely try their ondeh ondeh cake as well! Superb!

There's also card games like Sushi Go and Love Letter which I won 6 rounds to! 😉 Definitely an awesome hidden cafe on the 2nd floor!

Hey, I didn't know that I can only take 1 photo. So this is the proper food photo. The prawn aglio olio is good but the ice lemon tea is average. $22.50 for both is slightly expensive but since this is a Friday night...
Cosy place which is filled to the brim. I literally had the last seat at this place. Baghdad street is an unknown charming place in Singapore. Somehow I think the owner take pride in his food even if it is the last order. I should come here and play games with my friends one day.

Salted caramel cake was the bomb! Eventho its small but the taste of it had me filling so full (also becos i had a meal before this) but nevertheless my first time trying this and absolutely delicious!! Yall have to try too!

Decided to choose La Marelle Cafe cos theres alot of good feedbacks from my friends. But sadly, we went there on a wrong timing where their place went blacked out, with no electricity at all. Lucky it wasnt dark yet, or else we'll be eating in the dark. The service is good, they managed to sent our food before our 'azan prayer' starts. The food is yummy especially the cheesey pasta. We didnt get a chance to try out their desserts. Shall go here again & try. No regrets!! #welovefood #foodporn

Perks: free WiFi, lots of great food, virgin drinks!, cute interior (totally Instagram worthy) the pasta is so rich in flavour and left my friend and I both extremely full and satisfied. Worth a visit :-)

It is cheap. Comes with only ice lemon tea. The MAC and cheese is so delicious!

The food was mouth drooling and it tastes delicious as it looks. The portion was quite small tho, but it is just nice for me 👌🏼

Great service and cafe environment. The food came really quick and was really good. Pretty good on the whole. My friends and I got the lunch set meal which included a double cheese turkey panini and a glass of ice lemon tea for $10.90 yum

$18! SHARE IT WITH SOMEONE. Really nice, but becomes jelat pretty quickly.

$5 for the brownie, $2 for the scoop of Vanilla ice cream. Nubbad. U get your ice cream all over the moist brownie😌🙌🏽

$7.50! You taste more of the banana than the chocolate. Served warm which makes it pretty yummers. But a tad bit too ex!

The cheesecake was pretty good. Shirley Temple and Caribbean was great too! I enjoy Shirley Temple the most. Would definitely go back for the drink as well as the cheesecake. I forgot the price of the cheesecake but I think it costs around $6? It is affordable, delicious and has a great atmosphere!

The atmosphere and the ambience of the cafe is unique..Foods wise is good. The all day breakfast taste real good so do the creamy turkey ham spaghetti. Definitely is a must come again cafe 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍

A very sweet and pretty cafe located at Baghdad street . Full of childhood ambience but the music is not matching the theme . The menu not much choices and nothing spacial, I'm sorry to say you can pay the same to get better .

This was a light chocolate cake, so people who love their really rich and milky chocolate cakes won't like this very much. It cost $7, and was meticulously decorated with heart sprinkles and mini marshmallows. Makes for a great foodstagram ;)

This is a lovely cafe and you just love being here. However, the food, desserts and coffee are rather average.

This gorgeously whimsical shop is bound to put you in a good mood with its unique decor and colourful walls. Actually a shop by a French design company, La Marelle also doubles up as a perfect hideout on the second floor along Baghdad Street. For a hot bite, go for the French Classic Stuffed Croissant ($15) packed with deli meats and Parmesan or the Haloumi Cheese Burger ($15), and finish off with a slice of cake chosen from their daily display. The prices can get a little steep considering the food is rather simple, but this is definitely a unique place to visit for a lovely afternoon.

The croissant was good, crispy on the outside and yet so fluffy on the inside! Read more: http://www.misstamchiak.com/20-halal-cafes-in-singapore/
