Ample ingredients. Flavours of the cooked sweef fruits permeates through the soup. Soft-boned pork adds fullness to the dish. Worthy.
Distinct taste of chicken and Chinese herbs. Great to have over this wet month to ease the chills.
Peppery tonic soup with fair amount of pig's stomach slices and ginko nuts. Omelette with fresh pieces of bittergourd. Appreciate that the dishes in general were not heavy handed with salt.
Roasted Chicken served with some prawn crackers, sweet sour sauce on a mini bed of lettuce. Rather small serving.
Sweet and slightly tangy sauce drizzled over fried fish slices. Fish slices were relatively thin and even more so after coated for frying.
Love their double boiled soup as it is thick and cooked with many good ingredients! They even offered free second serving for your soup ☺️
Lao Huo Tang not only serves Cantonese-style soups cooked with spare ribs and premium ingredients for long hours, there are also a good variety of Chinese dishes which are done very well too. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg
After all those fried food in Oz, the wife says we need some nourishing soup. This is a bowl from the pot posted by @kopikosonggirl
It's kinda sweetish. Saw it in the menu and just had to order it to try.

Glad that the restaurant is still around. So had lunch with The Mom here - Pig's Stomach Soup, Salted Veg Duck Soup, Kailan veg as well as Sweet Sour Fish.
